FPB, that's why I was pushing to stop it. Having so many absent distorted the values. We were going to end up in a corrupted league before the games even started, which just doesn't sound fun to me. -Miranda

Man, some steals went in the hour I missed. Shit.
-
P.D., there's only a three hour difference between EDT and PDT. How about 9:00 AM PDT = 12:00 EDT? Josh has little kids he has to deal with in the morning, but I should be able to cover the draft while he's doing that. -Miranda

earlier next Saturday would be better for me too

If we're shooting for next Saturday, I too would prefer an earlier start...
-
Full Passion Buckets's trading block has been updated!
-
For example, 12-4PM eastern (8AM-12PM pacific), instead of 4-8pm eastern (12-4pm paficific)?
-
How about earlier in the day? Having it right in the middle of the day kind of eliminates options (to do other things) in morning and afternoon (or afternoon and evening if even central/eastern time).
-
How does next Saturday at the same time sound? That's 1:00 Pacific, 4:00 Eastern. The two teams with $400 can still get back into this by trading for some of the earlier picks, which might make next Saturday and the season more interesting.

For those who don't know, we paused the draft after about 4 hours. Two people never made it, and (I think) four others had dropped offline as well. We should obviously resume at some point before the season starts.

I assume 4pm EDT

can't wait for draft day tomorrow! is that 4pm EDT, CDT...?
-
i can't do it on sunday b/c i have another draft that day.
-
PS I wouldn't mind a late start on Sunday :D
-
I might be late, does anyone know if you can draft from an iPad?
-
Just throwing it out there, I don't expect it to be moved. It's just some important last minute stuff came up so it looks like I won't be able to make it.
-
I'm assuming there's no chance we move it to Sunday, correct?
-
4 eastern time correct?
-
Hmm, well I looked and Sporting KC appears to be away that weekend. So I'll stay in South Dakota.
-
anyone is welcome to draft with me in wichita, ks. i will supply the booze
-
Nice. I still have quite a bit of research left.
-
inching closer. almost done with my research
-
I'm super pumped to start watching some preseason games this weekend.

I am also fine with either decision.

If we're not all in agreement about splitting it up, perhaps we should just pound through it in one fell swoop. I'll stick it out as long as I can, and more power to those who outlast me!

My pregnant wife is already giving up two Saturdays for a fantasy draft, I doubt I'll get a 3rd.
-
i cleared the day. but am willing to do it over multiple days. the results will be the same. me drafting the best and winning!!!
-
I'm fine with either one.

I'd prefer not to spend 6-8 hours at once. If it's really going to take that long my preference would be to split it, but whatever the majority want to do is definitely fine with me.
-
I'd rather pound it out in one day.
-
IW, I'm not opposed to that, if we reach a consensus. Personally I don't have a problem with a long draft, but then, I don't have kids. -Miranda

Can we establish a length of time after which the draft will be suspended, then continued another day / time? For instance, at the four hour mark, draft is suspended and will commence again at x. I've read first year drafts can take eight hours!
-
can't wait to start kicking. sorry lost train of thought was yelling at my kids. lol
-
i can't wait to kicking your guy's butts. and of course yours too miranda!! don't want you to feel left out

The 'Free Agents' button works for me.

Is there any place we can take a look at the player pool? I was briefly able to view players (and I think the projected stats) under "Free Agents", but that's no longer the case (now it appears as a broken link).

my first ottoneu league and first auction draft.
-
Hey All, Glad I'm not the only first time ottoneu player. Looking forward to this. Jays fan by the way
-
It's a keeper league. It should tell you when your renewal is due somewhere. Marathon, you should be able to set up values for players, but it's not going to be smart about drafting a balanced team.

It's 4PM ET. Josh and I are in Seattle, and we wanted to get started in the early afternoon.

Woo! All full! Welcome, all. Re: Draft day = St. Patty's. Hmm. So, it is. Well, it doesn't bother me. I chose that day because I was reasonably confident Josh and I would both be able to sit down for a lengthy time then.

i prefer to not be sober for the whole thing. then i draft out of instinct and don't over think. lol
-
@ Taco Salad... The early draft rounds are the only ones where you need to be sober, right? :)
