Ya they just suck at evaluating and developing players plus obviously it’s impossible to pitch there much less bring FA pitchers there. Actually feel sorry for Dollander. Great prospect ruined by Rox/Coors field.

Unfortunately, I don’t know if you can include the Rockies in that group of greedy owners. They routinely have a mid-level payroll, they just spend it terribly and are awful at developing players. Now the Pirates owner, Bob Nutting, is the worst. He takes the revenue, sharing money and puts it in his pocket. If I was one of the other owners, I’d be furious that he’s just pocketing the money they give him.

exactly ya, it's sad for them cause man with that lineup if they just added a pitcher or two they could be legit pennant contenders. Obviously the G-Rod and Bradish injuries hurt them a lot but still. Seems like Angelos again.

It's a disgrace how some of these greedy owners just sit on their teams, watching franchise values increase on the back of growth in the sport cultivated by others, without investing anything themselves. Orioles well on their way to completely wasting their rebuild...its a joke that they went into the season with this little pitching. Firing the manager is just scapegoating, deflecting attention from the real problem.
