From the Community pages, there's a thread that states that the end of the auction, the auction must be marked as completed before stats start counting toward the season. Carlos Ruiz, that might be what that other league is referring to. Would only apply to auctions occurring on 3/20 or 3/21, I believe.

I was told this in another league with same plan but if that is not true ignore. I know the draft date does not show up on my list as being set and still says season starts March 20 as if draft is not established. Maybe you can confirm with Niv.

That is not a setting I have in the commish tools. Where do you see that I need to do this?

If draft is going to be after March 20, as set now, you'll need to alter league settings which still have league starting on March 20.

Moved the tentative draft day back a little to Friday March 22, 9pm EST. How's that work for people? Now's the time to complain!

Had no idea those Korean games were regular season. We can draft before or after - I have zero preference. Later time also works for me. There is really not a time too late here, so post what time frame specifically everyone can do. Seems like Friday is preferable to Sunday unless there are further objections.

I'm also pretty flexible on dates with some notice, I would also prefer a start time after 8:30 EST if possible.

I have no problems excluding the stats from the Seoul series and drafting on Mar 24 or Mar 22.

The MLB season officially opens on March 20-21, a two gm series btwn Dodgers & Padres in Seoul Korea. If we hold the draft after March 19, Niv (the Ottoneu owner) says the stats for those 2 days will not count towards season totals. See Community Forums for details.

Now that the league is full, it's time to set the draft day. Traditionally, we hold the draft on a Friday or Sunday night (~8:30pm EST) just before the MLB season begins. This year, the season starts Thursday, March 28, so now is the time to post your preference of day and time. I have tentatively set the day for Sunday, March 24 but obviously that can be changed.

Hello to the new teams! I assure you I am NOT a Rangers fan, except for their players on my current roster. I live in Buffalo and since there's no true regional team, I use that freedom to root for whoever I feel like at the time. It's very freeing compared to my fandom for Buffalo's other pro teams, who exist to disappoint me year after year. Maybe it'll be the Rangers if Langford, Jung and Duran lead me to a title this year.
