Awesome, thanks to all for doing your arbitration. Reminder that we are looking for a few active new owners, so if you know of anyone let them know about our league which I just changed the name of in an attempt to draw more interest on the "orphaned/dead teams" page. Ballers made me the commish before leaving but if anyone wants to co-commish let me know I don't mind.

I'm out for next year. Those who are active are great, but too few owners with interest. Also, I don't like the UI for Ottoneu - It's unpleasant to look at and hard to use. Bad design. Best of luck to those that continue. Whomever picks up my team should be in good position to succeed.

ha! I have to admit you made me look up the meaning of 'nerf' as a verb, which probably suggests I'm not a gamer (very true, unless you mean board games haha), and thus you might infer I'm a bit more advanced in years, which...may also be true.

I understand trades open once the arb period has closed. One problem is - how many dead teams are in this league (3?), they won't be allocating arb $ to anyone.

IIRC, arb period is from 10/15-11/15. keeper deadline to cut your roster is 1/31. Can't add any free agents until the draft. Trades are OK anytime tho. Correct me if I'm wrong on any of this.

By the way I tip my virtual batting helmet to the 3 teams that finished right behind me. If a couple of breaks/injuries or whatever had gone the other way our places could have been very different. Now I have to get ready to do a lot of cuts...

Thanks Kiwis! I think this is my 4th year doing this, though I could be off by a year. It's my first top-5 finish. I think I was like 10th, 8th, 6th, 1st. I started with just tons of prospects - looking back I was probably way overboard in that regard but it's cool to finally get to the top. For now... Who are you guys rooting for in the playoffs? I like the Jays - want to see Dickey's knuckler in the WS. Also Houston and the cubs - nice to have new blood. Pulling for Beltre/TEX too.

Yeah, the race for the top spot has tightened up considerably. That 1500IP limit will probably come into play.

haha, true. Being an m's fan I was happy for him. It was actually his first career CG. I sat Taijuan walker a couple weeks ago for a 67 point game I think it was. And the night before I think it was Lance Lynn had like 71 and he sat too. Wasn't paying enough attention to keep rotating my pitchers. Just as long as I don't lose by less than 100 with some innings left unspent.
