Old New New York Mets's trade block has been updated!

I might be willing to let Price go for the right offer; there has been some interest. He is priced under value. I would at least be asking for a pitcher in return with potential but not necessarily proven in the offer.

I am open for trades to those I have been talking with already, since taking over the team. I am going to be very limited in who I have open for trades. I like the team I picked up but I have a lot of future cuts planned and this team has no prospect chips. My trade block is pretty much up to date, my pitching is very strong and priced very well. I am willing to flip Nelson potentially though. I am very open to trading any of my SS, which are priced pretty well.

Generally, trades should only be reversed by veto, when accepted in error or by mutual agreement. This is going to bite in no matter what - but allows Ryan to negotiate further and bleed a better trade out of the "winner".

I don't know what standard protocal is but, for what it's worth, I don't care if trades are reversed so long that neither party objects entirely. And Arctic might object, but may be being nice to the rookies. Either way, from what I remember, it looked like a pretty good deal for both sides based on needs (but I'm new).

FML. Right, I've crawled out of bed, so I'll assume tacit approval. I do not expect to make this a habit.

I had another offer come in right before he accepted the trade and while I was sending him the message to let him know, Kiwis accepted the deal. Wanted to decide which deal to take.
-
Whats the reason for canceling the trade?
-
DL Hero's has asked me to rescind the trade - any objections? If no objections, I'll cancel it in the morning.

On that note, to everyone, Carlos Gomez is available, but I don't want to sell low on him after his injured year, so I may hold onto him until he shows he's healthy. The other veterans (Miggy, Werth, Pedroia, Cashner) are available too. I know none of them are at a great value, but figured I'd make it known. Some of the prospects are available, but this league doesn't seem as crazy about prospects as other leagues. I plan on keeping the better ones since they are the reason I chose this team.
-
Welcome fellow neubie. I didn't realize how many of us there are. Let's all hang around for longer than a year, as dynasty leagues are generally more fun/interesting when there is less turnover (just my opinion from my ESPN league). I'm attempting a quick rebuild and figure my team is destined for last place, so nobody an use that excuse (even you seasoned vets).

Hello everyone! This will be my first ottoneu league, which seems to be the case for a few of us. I have read as much as possible to get up to speed, and I believe I'm ready for the challenge of the league itself and the format of ottoneu. I hope everyone had a great New Year and is ready for the 2016 season.

Thank you much. Enjoy the family time without thinkin about fantasy baseball too much.

Also, welcome to Old Mets. There are a bunch of rookie owners in our league this year so you are not alone. Post any questions and we'll try and help you out. It seems crazy complicated at first but after the games start you will have it all pretty much down in short order. I'm traveling for the next 3 weeks with my family but will try and not be completely AWOL.

Is there a place to find out how much each player was worth in 2015. I think I remember seeing some articles on each position, but am now having trouble finding them.

Welcome to the league. Format is a bit different so the FAQs are a must read. Brad Johnson's articles are a help as well. Feel free to hit NxNw or me up with any questions.

Hi everyone. I saw you were looking for another player on one of the Rotographs' comment sections, and thought I'd pick up the team. This will be my first ottoneu league, but I'm excited for the challenge!
-
Welcome to the league. Yup the scoring for sure is different. But I appreciate that they're trying to reflect something a little closer to actual value. As opposed to a SB being worth the same as a double. You are not the only newbie this year - there was a changing of the guard this year and I think we have several owners this year who are new to ottoneu. I like it way more than any other format, but as the saying goes there is no accounting for taste! Keep the questions coming.

We play the fangraphs points system, so pitchers earn 7.4 pts per IP, 2 points per K, but lose 2.6 per hit, 3 per BB/HBP and 12.3 per home run.

Thanks for the welcome. I'm looking forward to my first ottoneu team. I'm quite experienced in an old school espn keeper H2H league, but understand that ottoneu is a different beast. I have been reading fangraphs for a couple years now, so hopefully I'm not too much of a newb. My first question is: I'm looking at the scoring system for fangraphs points and it says that Hits ARE counted against pitchers (not in SABR), but in the FAQ's it says that hits are NOT counted against. Which is it? Thanks

He didn't pay his fees, so the system gives them a few days then automatically cuts them at midnight. Since the team is expired, you have to pay the years fee when you pick it up - but any owner can pick the team up for $5 instead of $10. SO if your mate wants it, it's a 1/2 price team.
