Please abandon this team. I was victim of a stroke on Sep 15, so I will have to quit my part time job losing my Ottoneu spending money, anyway don't have the same energy to manage so many leagues, will be quiting many leagues. Sorry to let you down guys, thanks.

All my best to Graham’s Neubies, who welcomed me to the league two years ago. I am happy to see him go out on top. And we now get to welcome the new owner of Solid Gold. The Ottoneu circle of life…
-
I’ve enjoyed my nine years in the league. Now it is time for me to take a break from Ottoneu and focus on other priorities. Thank you all for making this league a great experience!
-
Thanks! in the middle of it, this was a very competitive race, despite the gap at the end.
-
Congrats Graham! Great season everyone and if not coming back next year just let me know!

Congrats to Grahams Neubies on winning your 3rd League Championship!
-
Sorry to see you go Solid Gold.
-
Wow, best regards solid gold! If whoever takes your team wins next year would not be surprised, great job building a team.

I won’t be commissioner next year. Open it up to someone else!
-
We need a new commissioner as I’ll be leaving after the season. Graham - do you want it back or should we open the floor to new candidates.
-
After a past debate about this topic, we added this to the commissioner’s note in the leagues settings:
——
And if you make good faith efforts to keep your roster legal the rest of the year, we will look the other way about what you do with your team during the last three days of the season. We won't tell Niv if you won't! He will make you fix it by January 31st anyway.
——
Obviously, we can vote on changing it, but we came up with this before, because the pool is pretty
-
I am not the commissioner, but obviously there is a grace period for invalid rosters which is up to each leagues unwritten or written laws usually 24-72 hours. I think it is a good time to agree to something that is more set in stone. Merely a suggestion to vote on:
48 hours lapses, then the commissioner randomly selects amongst the pool of newly acquired players to cut until that roster is in compliance.

Rule 1 of Ottoneu applies until rosters are frozen. Owners must maintain a valid team. That is no more than 40 players plus players on the 60 day IL, suspended players, players with COVID.
-
Have we set any roster size limits for the offseason?

Last 24 hours for trades this season!

Ohtani could be available for the right price

If you guys get a chance check out the White Sox Guardians game. A huge fight occurred. Jose Ramirez and Tim Anderson, Ramirez hit Anderson squarely on the chin and knocked him on his ass.
-
Just heard that 1/4 prospects traded on the trade deadline made it to the majors and had a positive WAR for at least two seasons.
-
Ouch! I can’t remember the last time I saw a -55 pt team pitching performance.
-
Well that was a disaster.
-
Mostly people renominating their cuts after 30 days to be able to recut them and save more money.
-
Wow 25 auctions and I didn't nominate a single one!
-
He will most likely gets cut within a month unless he goes on a tear. If Jansen continues to hit, I might just go with him as a backup.

Winnetka are you cutting the fat piece of shit or do you have McDonald’s ready? I would love to get kirk back at a dollar menu price
-
Time will tell on that one. I still like Rooker, I don't think we will see 6ppg average over the course of a season but 5-5.5 seems to be within range. All young pitchers are a risky bet, time will tell on Detmers.
-
I still like my Detmers for Rooker trade that I did with you in other league. We have different values on Detmers. I just am looking to shed space for auctions today if anyone wants multiple leiter perdomo Kirk Eflin level people for 1 player or someone 60day list, am more interested today!
-
Fair deal in your mind, bad deal for mine.
-
Kirk goes from hot commodity to fat piece of sh!t in less than a year. Baseball can be cruel.
-
Kirk and perdomo for Gavin Williams totally fair deal. You are second to last in catcher starts
-
You might as well cut that fat piece of sh!t Kirk.
-
Read the comments in trade. I said I would do 3 for either of the 2 and 2 of said 3 for Gavin Williams.
-
Isn't this a great offer? Do you guys think I should do it? WTF???
Chicago Former Mayors gives up...
Zach Eflin TBR SP/RP R $2
Geraldo Perdomo ARI SS/3B S $1
Alejandro Kirk TOR C R $11
Winnetka Bears gives up...
David Bednar PIT RP R $6
Reid Detmers LAA SP L $7

Heads up to the league. I'm not committing to and am considering trades to reload for next year. Since my trade last year of Goldschmidt rankled some owners, this is to alert everyone and give everyone equal opportunity. I may be trading Juan Soto and a few other high potential and current producers.
-
I agree, doesn't look good. Even if there is no IL there is a definite possibility it will continue to bother him and effect his swing.
-
Right hip MRI doesn't look great, given his history. That said, more likely some days off to heal and not on the IL.
-
Aaron Judge, should I be worried?
-
I would go with Toronto, Minnesota and Houston and Atlanta, St Louis and San Diego. A WS win by Toronto against Atlanta
-
AL winners: Toronto, Minnesota, Houston
NL winners: Atlanta, St Louis, San Diego
Playoffs are so unpredictable. Toronto would be my pick also but anything can happen in the post season.
-
Division winners:
Toronto
Minnesota
Seattle
Atlanta
Milwaukee
LA Dodgers
Toronto beats the Dodgers for the World Series
Not very confident in the WS prediction.
-
Griz, I think you have to pick Reyes up for the sixth time just for nostalgia sake.
-
Ya that’s wild lol. The A’s would be proud. Wish you luck on your quest
-
Former Mayors going for the first 50 player/$100 roster in Otto history. This is some Sam Hinkie stuff, redefining what a rebuild can look like
-
I’m so close to my goal of a sub 100 dollar team! Let me know if anyone is interested in Trevor Story
-
I love meneses and A Garcia most for next season. But them, Perez, and Soroka for sale for under 5 dollar young players with potential.
