• I agree with the Bears. After the draft, it helps to have time to work on rosters before the season starts. I can handle a late night draft if needed to schedule a draft date mid week.

• I hate waiting till one week left till opening day. I feel it is much better if we have at least three weeks before opening day in order to work trades and tweek our rosters through free agency.

• Weeknights are tough, but as long as we can start at 9pm (eastern) or later I should be able to make it. The downside is there are a LOT of open roster spots and a LOT of cap space in this league, so the draft could easily last 3 hours or more. We could be going pretty late. Not a problem for me. I can't start much earlier than 9 unless the draft is on a weekend.

• After suggesting it, I'm now realizing I'm out of town the first week in March, so that would be difficult. What if we focused on a Tuesday or a Thursday starting at 9pm eastern? Maybe one of 2/26, 2/28, 3/12 or 3/14?

• Weekends are much easier than weekdays for me. If the auction draft is during the week, I would have difficulty starting before 9pm. But I know how difficult it can be to schedule, and I will do my best to make it work.

• All 3 who haven't signed in recently are multi year owners. I'd hope everyone is at least engaged enough to get back on trade proposals, but I realize not everyone is going to be signing in regularly during the offseason. I am concerned about the lack of an owner for Raised Royal. There are a bunch of abandoned teams last I checked. I think that Niv's price increase is kind of screwing us there.

• Alright, unless someone has someone they know who wants to step up and claim Raised Royal, I'm going to set the team as abandoned. I'd rather it get picked up by someone one of our owners know, but I think it's more important that whoever picks it up has a bit of time to get things in order before the keeper deadline.
