  • Now that we are clear of the MLB Trade Deadline, we are now counting down to the Ottoneu Trade Deadline on August 31st. If you haven't already, now is the time to determine your needs for that final push or, if you are out of the running, which players you can trade for pieces for next season. Sometimes it can take a while to get a deal across the finish line, so the sooner you start talks with other teams, the better. Good luck to everyone!

  • “All in-season auctions are Vickrey auctions with blind bidding. The player is awarded to the team that makes the highest bid, and the player's salary is $1 more than the second highest bid. If there are no other bids, the player is awarded for $1 or the player's cap penalty if applicable. If two teams are tied for the highest bid, the player salary is that amount. If no one bids at all, the nominating team is awarded the player for $1 or the player's cap penalty if applicable“

  • You can be 100 on everyone but if you’re the highest bidder “the system” only bids $1 more than the next highest bidder to win the auction.
    It’s not the same as FAAB where everyone just blind bids.
    It’s explained better than I can do on the rules page of the site here.
