July 6, 2025 12:12 PM : Marte is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Phillies.
Analysis: Upon returning from the injured list Friday, Marte started the two straight games at third base, going 0-for-5 with two walks and an RBI. Though he looks to be the Reds' preferred option at the hot corner now that he's healthy, Marte will be rested Sunday and will give way to Christian Encarnacion-Strand.
