• Just a thing to match costs to allow for greater flexibility in moves. You'll now have a total budget of $383, but more importantly $7 of cap space (imo, budget becomes pretty much irrelevant from the end of the draft to the end of the season, but cap space is very meaningful). Does that make sense?

• Part of the strategy of the game included having deadlines from drops - i totally appreciate new teams getting to drop players, but teams that dropped based on seeing what other teams were doing, should be able to reclaim players at the dropped value prior to the auction.

• From the rule book: "After the keeper deadline and before the auction draft, teams may not cut or trade any players." If a new manager isn't found til after the deadline, the commissioner can grant them a one time cut allowance without penalties.

• Looks like keeper deadline was extended thru mid February. If someone doesn't make their cuts timely are they subject to a cap penalty? Could be advantageous if allowed to make cuts after everyone else. Or do they just not get to draft?

  We are still looking for a replacement manager for The Leslies. If you know of anyone that may be interested, please let me know. Unfortunately, I can't adjust the keeper deadline of 01/31, so just plan as if baseball wasn't in a lockout and make you keeper selections timely. If not, you become ineligible for the draft. I believe at that point, I, as the commissioner, have the ability to make adjustments.
