Analysis: Anderson elected to test free agency after clearing waivers Thursday, but he'll quickly reunite with the Angels after just a day on the open market. The 30-year-old righty owns an unsightly 10.32 ERA and 2.03 WHIP through 11.1 innings in the majors and isn't likely to make an impact with the big club if he makes it back to Anaheim before the season ends.
