Heh, I was just about to pop on here and request the same (in re: draft date).

Also, I'd like to propose we set a draft date now, so everyone can make sure to plan ahead for it.

Question, can you move the keeper deadline back from Jan 31st, Joe? Just curious.

As 2012 is a building year for me, in stark contrast to King's Pitch, I am open to all kinds of crazy trades.

Unless I am blown away with a trade I will probably reject it for now.

I just want to give the league a heads up that I am not really looking to make any deals right now. I am still in the process of evaluating my team and players and seeing who may become available.

They shouldn't show up in the list now. But, Hosmer got added to the "real" CarGo-Alonso deal somehow, when neither of us included him.

HOW DARE YOU CUT JOHNNY DAMON?! I VOTED FOR HIM
Chicago Socks on

And you're correct, no pickups during the offseason.
-
Not that I'm aware of. I cut some guys because I didn't even want to risk keeping them by accident though.
-
Is there a point to cutting players now? We can't do pickups during the offseason, can we?

I don't know how many of you guys have put in your votes but I'd encourage those of you who haven't to hold off on voting for someone until his team is eliminated. As Ryan Howard showed us last week, serious injuries can strike at any time.

So we should be able to resume trading on November 1, right? "Trades will be allowed during the offseason from when arbitration voting is completed until the annual auction."

Yeah, the playoffs have been really awesome. Pretty sure the Rangers are gonna win but I guess you never know.
