I can't believe you're trying to sell Ramos, after someone else put a price on his life this month. How reckless.

I think right now he's more concerned with the profile of Reyes' junk in that nude ESPN photo

Does he profile better at 3B or 2B? Not sure on how he fairs on agility vs arm strength.

I could see that, if he gets his act together.

Wow, yeah. Crazy. I guess Hanley moves to third?

That's what a decent source I read said earlier, that they have agreed in principle.

Is it really a done deal?

Wonder how Han-Ram will be affected by what seems to be a done deal with Reyes.

Yep, the ice box was getting low. Now back up to four: Nolasco, Vazquez, Gaby, and Bonafacio.

OMG Fu-Te Ni's trading block has been updated!

Yeah, I figured as much. More likely to have one in the 2012 offseason.

Parks in AL Central are less pitcher friendly (Coors is the anomaly of the NL West), and the offenses are better overall, so probably not good for his value.

Haha, I can't even begin to imagine how Sanchez will do against AL hitting.

You guys should read an excellent article on BP by Goldstein on the latest Cuban defector, Yoenis Cespedes: http://www.baseballprospectus.com/article.php?articleid=15469

An upgrade at SP would be a luxury for me, I can't afford the pieces to pick up a cost controlled one.

I have a lot of young talent at SP that stands to get shots at ML rotation spots this next season, and am willing to deal 2- or 3-for-1s to get an upward trending position player, if anyone is interested.

Because, well, that trade is kind of gross, and just about any SS with a starting job is better than Pennington

I've "fixed" my immediate shortstop problem with Pennington, but definitely still willing to discuss other SS's.

which "book" is this? I don't think I've ever had a draft after the beginning of the season

That said, I've always had my drafts before the season started, except one year while we had our draft during the opening night game.

I just ask about before/after start of season because "By the book" says the draft should take place during the first weekend after opening day..

Before the start of the season and late at night is going to generally be good for me. Can't do Thursdays.

Agreed that we should figure it out relatively early though. Right now just seems a little extreme.

Based on what Niv said, I think that's the case for now, but it could be moved / league defined at some point in the future.

I'll look into the keeper deadline. I doubt it can be moved - seems to be a system-wide feature.

Can we not do that? I have no idea what my schedule will be in March and as important as this league is to me I will certainly have things that I cannot reschedule for the sake of making it to my fantasy draft
