There are such things as non-Red Sox players?

It was part of the culture for probably over 20 years, getting that out of the baseball system is going to take serious effort and at least a decade worth of serious testing.

Put down the torches, and realize that it's going to be a long-term problem, not bury their heads in the sand and do an ostrich impression.

I think it's good for baseball that it's a media favorite like Braun though. Long-term, that is.

Discoutmags.com has an offer for the ESPN magazine for 4$ per year if you use the discount code "FRUGALCOUPON". Not quite 1$ per year, but close, and you also get Insider with it.

Did you watch him during the CWS? Cole's results from their first round game: 7.1 IP, 11H, 3ER, 11K, 1BB. He's confusing, to say the least.

Also, I fully expect to see Gerrit Cole "on" 100% of the time. Now who wants to trade for him?

Definitely think Moore is in the rotation now. And I also approve (or more realistically, ignore) virtually every trade.

Doesn't have Gerritt Cole stuff, but nobody does. Cole has the best stuff you'll ever see if we ever get to see him when he's "on".

Moore's got arguably better stuff than Strasburg, if you watch him. Easiest delivery I've ever seen for a guy that throws 96+. It's like watching a freaking knuckleballer.

With the news of the Matt Moore extension, which will lock him up through all of his team control years (plus 2 years of free agency!), do you guys think Matt Moore starts off the year in the ML rotation?

Southern cities (Atlanta excluded) don't have much in the way of public transportation, so be prepared to have to catch a cab from the airport if you go the flying route.

I haven't been to any of them before, but I haven't been a baseball fan all that long. Nashville's too good to pass up, since it's so close. Atlanta's the only other city I could easily drive to that might host them.
