League is full now. Welcome to Papi and Frasier! Thank you for joining and look forward to kicking the season off. So far it sounds like February 22 works for several as a draft date so please if you haven't chimed in yet let me know if that works. I mean I would be in favor of drafting whenever for the most part but I want to find a consensus.
-
I should be good for every weekend, honestly. I'll make the draft day a priority.
-
Im good for the 22nd. Mostly good for March other than the 7/8/9 weekend.
-
The 22nd works for me.
-
I also prefer the 22nd, personally.
-
I will be unavailable 2/15, 2/16, and 2/23. Otherwise should be okay - my preference is to have a late afternoon start time for the draft if that works for everyone else. Looking forward to it!

Both are fine with me as well.
-
Either date is fine though the 22nd is preferable.
-
What about the 22nd or 23rd of this month? I like our chances of filling before then we only need 1 owner. Would that work for everyone? Time can be settled somewhere for everyone. Also reminder that if you know anyone looking for a league feel free to invite them. The last team is abandoned and open and can be claimed by anyone.
-
Only day I can’t is the 21, any other day with a little heads up I’ll be able to make
-
With the exception of Valentines Day weekend, any Feb weekend works for me.

Assuming the last team is picked up soon I was hoping to maybe get this thing going by the end of February. Especially since we have new owners coming in but obviously want to settle on a general consensus.
-
Some Sunday in March?
-
What timeframe will work for everyone in terms of draft? With this being year 2 obviously it won't take nearly as long but still a couple hours probably.
-
Final day of free cuts. After today every cut will be a penalty to your salary cap so make sure to make any final decisions.
-
Last chance for Renato Nunez, Christian Walker, or even Rafael Devers (I'll add him to trade talks to sweeten it for people).
-
In regards to the format change we won't be changing anything. I was perfectly fine with scoring but just wanted feedback since everyone is paying to play. Since we mostly all seem to like the format we'll stay with what we did last year scoring wise.
-
Last year we all had a chance to go for it so a lot of players ended up inflated. As we move forward that will balance out for sure.
-
I had to drop Stanton because IMO I spent a little too much on him and that I want to increase my cap space.
-
Hell yeah! Glad to have you back Doom. So that's only 2 new owners needed which should be a piece of cake.
-
I've decided to return for the 2020 season. I'm gonna go through my roster and decided who I want to keep and who I don't want to keep.
-
I would not want to change formats, since we've built our teams for this format. If there was interest in a new H2H league though... I would consider it!
-
DeGrom is available. Please message if interested.
-
Yo. Roto style is cool for me. H2H is a little too up for chance.
-
As I get confirmation from the MIA owners on coming back or not I will be making their teams abandoned. This means they will show up in the list for new owners to take over. I'm going this route right now to possibly expedite the process in getting new owners since we're still in free-cut mode. If the teams aren't filled until after the end of that period, new owners will still get free cuts to get their teams to a point they like.
-
Mitch has confirmed he isn't coming back.
-
I'm fine either way

I also like the league the way it is
-
I am in favor of leaving the league as is. No H2H.
-
One final thing because I haven't spammed the board enough yet: How did we feel about Fangraph Points last season? I'm not interested in abandoning points, but did everyone enjoy just putting up points totals across the year? Or is there interest in moving to H2H Points? Same scoring, just actually matching up week to week and there being wins/losses to decide standings

The first bullet point doesn't affect us as a Points League. But there's a new feature this year that allows you to CHOOSE to have players in your starting lineup, who end up not starting, auto ejected from your lineup to the bench. It can be activated/deactivated on a daily basis and DOES NOT affect any future lineups. Just benches them that day if they don't start.
-
to gauge prospective new owners. I'll try to reach out to the 3 mentioned to confirm they aren't coming back first, though.
-
Didn't someone mention knowing someone that might be interested in playing? From my count it looks like we need 3 owners which is actually really good. Pretty sure Mitch and MVC said they were bailing and I simply haven't heard from Doom. I feel pretty good about our chances of landing 3 new owners pretty swiftly. Since so many people confirmed they're coming back (again please make sure to actually renew your teams soon) then maybe I can post on the Ottoneu board a little earlier...
-
Prize tier has been changed. When you to to buy in for your team (please keep an eye on this deadline) the new fee will be active so feel free to re-up whenever as long as it's before the deadline.
-
I believe that's 9 people coming back (including myself and Shawn) and all in favor of prize money.
-
I will be returning as well, and am fine with a prize league.
-
I'll be returning and I'm down to make this a prize league.
-
I'll be back, and I'm game to up the buy-in as well (can't wait to take y'alls $$$$...) hahaha
-
Confirming I'll be back this year, and my vote for increasing the buy-in.
-
I'll be returning as well. I vote we increase buy-in for a prize league.

I'm in and would be in favor of bumping up entry to make this a prize league.
-
I'll be back. Looking forward to round two!
-
In terms of personal roster stuff: I'll be making final cuts sometime in the next couple days. If anyone has interest in anyone on my roster feel free to make offers before that happens if you want dibs on a particular player before they hit the draft. Open to all discussions.
-
..before the draft. That's how it worked in the league I joined last season and it worked pretty well. That way they can choose a solid core to build from and then draft/trade with their own plans. Again, if you know anyone that wants to join up simply send me their email address so I can send a formal invite. Obviously we'll come a general consensus on a draft time after all this is done.
-
Now that we're approaching the mid-point in the month it's time to ask again if everyone wants to bump up the buy-in to make this a prize league. I'll be sending emails out to everyone to try and get a response confirming who is actually coming back to the league. But you can use this post as a means of confirming that as well. I think the best way to fill any openings will be to go up to the keeper deadline and then allow prospective new owners to pick their teams and make free cuts...
-
Renato Nunez and Christian Walker are both available for trade. Both are cheap and both scored 700+ points (Walker scored 800+). Nunez is 1B/3B eligible and Walker is 1B. I can't keep both with Freeman at 1B and Devers at 3B. Willing to trade both.
I need an outfielder.
