Hey all. For those keeping score at home, I'm adding Isan Diaz to my MLB roster to clear a spot on my MiLB roster. I'll go through and update the spreadsheet tomorrow morning and we can start the draft tomorrow afternoon/evening. Sho Time, I could be wrong, but I think we discussed that scenario in the pre-season MiLB draft, and the answer was yes, players like Mesa Mesa or Luis Garcia would be eligible for draft, and then the team that cut them would have the cap penalty removed.

Hey Commish. What's the thought process on adding players to your milb roster if they've been cut off a primary roster. For example, can I add Victor Victor Mesa to my milb roster during the draft? And if so, would the team who cut them from their primary roster not have the $1 cap hit anymore and would get that $1 back?

On a personal note, apologies for not responding to DMs in a timely manner over the past week or so. I've been dealing with a family health issue. So I'll respond to trade inquiries and the like later this week.

As before, we'll do a moratorium on starting 48 hour auction on players eligible for the MiLB draft for as long as the draft takes. Since we'll only be drafting a few players each, it shouldn't take as long as last time.

We will do a reverse order of the standings as of the start of the draft. I think that it makes sense to do it after the signing deadline (July 12th). So I propose that we start the draft that Sunday (July 14). We will do the slow draft as before (12 hours on the clock, but hopefully less). If you want to free up 10 man MiLB roster spots to draft guys, then you'll need to do it by end of day on Saturday (i.e., you'll have a day after the deadline and a day before the draft to make cuts)--cont...

Classy comment from a guy who's added/dropped about 400 players and been in last place since March. Pederson, Soler, Nola, Vogelbach, Choo, Muncy, and Stripling (who is back as a starter) certainly have value.

They're fair game once they become Ottoneu eligible (i.e., sign and Niv adds them to the database), but then you have to keep them on your 40 man primary roster rather than 10 MiLB supplemental. There isn't a way to directly transfer players from 40 man to 10 MiLB. The Sunday before the ASG, we'll lock MiLB rosters (i.e., any cuts you want to make have to be made by then) and we'll have a moratorium on 48hr auctions during the MiLB draft.

Hey guys, just an FYI on my response time as I have done a poor job at responding to some trades and messages. I'm receiving cancer treatment and have a suppressed immune system. When I catch a stomach virus, cold, etc it puts me down for a few days. I also have 2 kids under 2, so some days I get pretty worn down. Bare with me..I'm not ignoring..I'll always respond, it's just not as quick as I'd like sometimes. This isn't for sympathy and nobody has said anything, I'm just not happy with it.

A quick note about Canning: he's on Sho Time's MiLB roster, so if you trade for him you'll have to either call him up immediately or cut someone from your MiLB if you want to keep him down there for a while longer (except for Ybor, who has some space available). He has 4.1 IP in the majors and will need to be added if/when he hits 50 IP (or 45 days of MLB service time).
