$2 received from Hitch last week for a total of $243. Sorry about that.
-
$11 received for a running total of $241
-
Well in old FC, I've added him twice for a buck and traded him once to you for a $3 loan, so the market is probably somewhere between $3 and Trout.

Or Mike Trout. I'll also trade Woodruff for Mike Trout.
-
Folks, with Woodruff on the DL for 4 weeks, I'm looking to move him as part of a deal for a top starting pitcher. At $1 Woodruff is a huge surplus value for 2020. If I've pushed out a deal in the last two weeks that didn't have enough for [fill in the blank], consider that I will now likely add Woodruff as a key piece of such a deal.

HR into mccovey cove Robel Garcia
-
Good luck with that argument. I’m surprised your legal department isn’t recommending a quick settlement.
-
Cap’n, I’m insulted that you would think that I would let someone go just because they’re sick. My decision to let him go had absolutely nothing to do with his illness (which I assure you, I have every sympathy for), but rather, it had everything to do with his outrageous contract. The fact that no one will pickup said contract should be ample evidence of its outrageousness. I’d fire the person responsible for said contract, but alas, I enjoy this game too much.
-
Mikey, you can’t let someone go just because they’re ill. I’m sure there was some sort of reasonable accommodation that would have let Cookie contribute to the Minions further success. If he decides to sue I think he’ll prevail easily.
-
I've been scouring teams 7 through 12 for possible trades, noticed Mikey really has a full stable of impressive prospects , at least the ones I value greatly

Anyone catch Baez no look tag on Will Meyers foot yesterday ?
-
Will be pitchers day, cooled off wind blowing in slightly
-
Game may be a rain out or delayed start , 2 hour rain in the area starting at noon
-
Cubs better not need the bullpen today, Kimbrel was actually kind of lucky to get that save yesterday. Didn't look to me like he's ready yet for back-to-back appearances. Have to think he's not available today.
-
Boy did Minter get loudly booed last night, Braves fans must be irritated that Kimbrel has 5 saves already for Cubs
-
I am a buyer , not a seller right now
-
$8 received from Jeremy for a running total of $230
-
Tonight's Braves Nats game has turned out to be an old fashioned national league game
-
Anyone want Gary Sanchez?
-
Also have Newcomb
-
Patino is the best talent of the bunch
-
I also have hunter bishop and Vidal brujon to offer up
-
You must really want that 6-pack of Scofflaw.... btw, already one mention each of “productive out” (by Chip) and “a-b-c baseball” (by Simpson).
-
I, also, am looking for an expensive starting pitcher.
-
I am looking for SP of today for SP of tomorrow. Have Cease, Patino, and Keller to offer, all 3 I intended to keep
-
I’d rather have an SP upgrade than Rosario, so if anyone wants to move off an expensive SP you might cut in the offseason for whatever future value he represents, let me know. I can also probably make any salary differences work even though I’m up against the cap now by throwing in Carpenter

I so loved doing the in game cut of Strop, that dude drives me crazy.
-
While we’re on 80s alt-rock, Mike Mills seems too normal a human to be a really interesting guest in the Braves booth. They need to get Stipe in there for a couple innings.
-
Ha, I get it
-
Don't let's start that sort of trade talk
-
Blue canary in the outlet by the light switch...
-
They might be Giants
-
A few Cubs will have new addresses soon (Russell, happ, caratini )
-
Apparently they have some left-handed pitcher in the minors who's good enough to be trade bait.
-
6 and 1 since all star break , serving notice to LAD
-
Not exactly how you draw it up. Now that Cubs have a closer, maybe they go out and get a set-up man before the trade deadline?
-
Tried to walk Hosmer too but that was never going to happen. Fun game.
-
Strikes out 3 and wisely walked big Franmil wooooooo
-
Cubs Win ! Cubs Win ! Kimbrell the maestro
-
Jeez, throw strikes to Mejia, he has a .612 OPS, or 100 pts lower than Jon Lester!!
-
Haha , Hosmer missed strike 3 by 2 feet
-
Someone needs to tell the Cubs they can just waive 4 fingers and give Franmil 1st, they don’t have to throw 4 pitches nowhere near the zone any more.
-
Wanted nothing to do with Reyes.
-
Thank goodness the Cubs scored, now we'll get Kimbrel time in spite of Strop.
-
This is some bizarrely bad defense, by both teams but especially the Padres.
-
Shouldn't it be Robel time right now?
-
(As a Cubs fan, you have the advantage that their broadcasters don’t seem to trade in these tired cliches—though they’ve got their own problems; right now they’re not actually paying attention to the live game—so “make baseball great again” talk is probably less triggering.)
-
Sure, Tatis didn’t do his job, but it’s the “do it like they did in the 70s” approach that’s the cranky part. Run expectancy for the inning goes down, not up, when you give up an out to move a guy from 2nd to 3rd. The ground ball to 2B “productive out” is a myth (that Chip Caray repeats at least twice each broadcast, usually when “professional hitter” Markakis grounds out again).
-
Big Franmil reminds me of dave Winfield, may be bigger even
-
Bah , lead off doubles or men at 3rd with 1 out or less should always score
