Analysis: Iglesias served as the Padres' primary second baseman in April, but he shifted back to a reserve role when Jake Cronenworth was reinstated from the injured list Friday. Iglesias is also batting just .050 (1-for-20) in May, giving San Diego less incentive to find ways to get him into the lineup elsewhere.
