Analysis: Mayo had some defensive lapses and went just 1-for-12 at the plate during his brief stint with the big club. The 23-year-old has nothing left to prove in the minors, but he will nonetheless head back to Norfolk to clear space on the roster for the return of Tyler O'Neill (neck).
