And in order to be fair, I am clearing the SGC cap penalties that were accrued by the previously negligent owner--the new owner should not be handcuffed due to someone else's wrongs (which occurred before the season had even begun).
-
Thanks to two of the current owners I am happy to announce that Larry's Pants and SGC have new owners and should be active soon. Welcome to the league. :)
-
I may have 1, yes. Are both teams still available?
-
Anyone have any prospective new owners?
-
The Great Hambino's trade block has been updated!
-
(That is to say, I merely removed te owners instead of abandoning the teams and relegating them to the free-for-all of the abandoned team Thunderdome.)
-
Despite my best efforts, I received no responses from either Larry's Pants or The SGC and so they have now been booted with the teams remaining (officially) ownerless. So, if you have anyone interested in a team let me know and I can hook them up. The teams have not been abandoned, therefore not just anyone can take tem over. :)

Berrios is on the block for win now talent (feels like an echo from my Mazara message)
-
Okay, I have sent e-mails to both inactive teams and posted private ottoneu messages, so they have until May 1 or I will mark there teams as abandoned. If you know anyone who may be interested in a team please let me know. It is a bit premature to guarantee them a team, but they could at least investigate the league and see if they would be willing to join. :)

End of April seems fair but would prefer the teams to be active sooner than later.
-
So what does everyone think would be a good deadline? The end of April?
-
Deadline makes sense to me too. Sooner than later too would be my vote.

I would agree with a deadline. Its a shame that it may come to that - but both managers were active and aware of the system and would probably prefer continued parody for the league, even if that means their stake is dissolved. A shame though that they are not responding.
-
They are AWOL. I have e-mailed them both repeatedly and I have gotten zero responses. Any suggestions as to what should be done? I was thinking of a deadline for a response/participation otherwise I would boot them and let someone else take over. Thoughts?
-
Do we know what is going on with Larry's Pant and The SGC?

I've got a nice little lead over The SGC and Larry's Pants.
-
Woohoo! I win the "First Significant Injury of the 2016 Fantasy Season" award for this league.

The point is: he is still in the game and should be at the draft tomorrow.
-
I have been working on it. He knows the draft is tomorrow night and all he has to do is cut players so that he has a bit of cash, and then once the players he cut get picked up he will recoup all his penalty money for further spending--assuming he cuts players other teams desire on the cheap. In fact, he could cut enough of his players to have some cash and then sign back the dead money players for $1 and still clear reduce his penalty obligations. I have explained all of this to him.
-
What are we doing about the state of The SGC? It would be a shame to have over budget and illegal team at the auction
-
Feb. 27th at 9:00 PM ET works for me.
-
So Mrs. Nachos is as wise as she is lovely. You have a keeper.
-
Mrs. Nacho understands, as long as I don't repeat last year's fiasco of spending $18 on Brett Cecil.
-
Given the responses thus far received, I have tentatively set the draft date/time as Saturday February 27 at 9PM EST in the hopes that the lovely Mrs. Nachos is as gracious and understanding as she is lovely and recognizes the difficulty or coordinating a fantasy baseball draft.
-
I can make March happen as well if February is out.
-
I too prefer the Feb 27th date but might be able to make the March date work
-
Feb. 27th would be preferred but March can work too.
-
Either date works for me.
-
I was going to throw my hat in the ring and say I preferred the February 27 date as well, but I certainly don't want to make a fantasy baseball draft part of the lovely Mrs. Nacho's yearly birthday celebration.
-
I prefer the March date so as it doesn't conflict with the lovely Mrs Nacho's birthday like it did last year.
-
I can do either though I slightly prefer the February date
-
My vote would be for the 27th
-
Okay, given the feedback thus far I will propose two dates and time: Saturday February 27 at 9pm EST or Saturday March 12 at 9pm EST. Is there any objection to either date? Which one would people prefer?
