I'd say that upon discovering an ineligible player on a MiLB, give the owner a heads up and ask him what he wants to do (i.e., either cut or add to 40 man). If he doesn't respond to the prompt, then add him to the 40 man roster, which may put him into an illegal roster state, at which point it's up to him to resolve either by cutting the new player or another.

My thoughts were on Sunday’s I will check rosters to make sure everyone’s milb players are still valid. After the team with a player no longer having milb status the team will be notified and given one week to promote or drop the player. After a week if the player is still in violation the player will be removed and put into the player pool as a fa. Open to any ideas....

Q1-What's the penalty if someone doesn't promote their MILB guy? ... This happened in another league I'm in with MILB. Came to the point where we the deadline passed and it was like, well, what's next. In any case, standard says we should have a resolution mechanism if there's going to be a deadline.

The addition of MILB players will only be allowed via one of the two MILB drafts during the year. U may drop or call up any player but the MILB spot can only be filled thu the draft.

A-2 Players with open spot will be able to fill their MILB roster in one of two MILB drafts. One MILB draft after the regular season draft and the other to be determined (During the All Star break). No draft spots will be tied in any order to the way u called up your MILB players. If u have an open spot u may take your turn in the snake draft til all of your spots are filled.

I haven't had that issue. I've had to remind people that their MiLB player is no longer ROY eligible and prompt them to make a decision on whether to promote or cut. Theoretically, the commissioner can just add the non-eligible MiLB to that team's 40 man roster for $1, which may force that team into an illegal roster state that they'd have to resolve. I'd suggest handling it on a case-by-case basis and give people something like 24-48 hours to decide whether to add the MiLB player or not.

A1- Once they reach the limit (Inns, Ab, etc) they have to promote them or drop them. I will do a weekly check and give a reasonable time like a week to get it done. The have to promote or drop. As far as the drop, I will do my best to get the team to decide who to drop but it is a good point. If no player is dropped after a week and several requests that player will be put into the player pool.

A copy of MILB rules has been sent out and Link has been posted.... LG assisted in providing his rules from a league he was in and small changes have been made. Please review and let me know what changes u guys would like to make. This is just proposal until the league confirms the rules. If anyone wants to add anything I am fine with it just send me a message.
