Draft Day! Any minor league player can be drafted tonight as long as they are not currently on the restricted list. The minor league draft will start following the conclusion of tonight's draft. I will post the draft order. 12 hours on the pick....See everyone for 7est.

Lg posting of the rule I think helps all of out on the league decision. If anyone has any question at any time post it. The draft is Sunday. Please have any callups in an hour before the draft so I can add them to your roster. Like last year Minor League players can be bid on and drafted in the regular draft. The minor league draft will start at the end of the regular draft. See everyone Sunday....

From the rules:
"Any player on the MiLB Roster may be called up at any time (i.e., added to the Ottoneu primary 40 man roster"
The phrase "any time" would seem to permit a callup between the cut deadline and the auction. My plain text reading of our rules is that a cut is prohibited, but not a callup.

Hey. Can someone explain the reasoning? We were to promote or drop from milb at the deadline. With news over the last month some may have made different decisions based on that news. Seems like we should stick with current rules and consider as a change for next year unless reasoning makes sense for the league to change now. $.02.

Milb call ups prior to draft.....I spoke with a team today and I would like to see if anyone has any objections to calling up Milb players to your active roster prior to our draft and also our Milb draft. They will count against the cap tho if prior to our draft at a rate of a dollar a spot. Any objections please post by midnight tomorrow.

Date and time is set for the draft. I locked in the date early to accommodate those who have multiple leagues. I will start the MILB draft following the regular auction draft.

I have done everything I can do to reach Wacha. I am bringing in a new owner since no objections were filed by the league.....

Wacha Has not responded to any messages or emails and I hope he responds before tomorrow. He is the only team that did not complete arb. I have someone waiting to claim the team and as of tomorrow morning if I dont hear from him I am going to move ahead and change owners. Any objections please post. Hopefully I hear form Wahca....

I like any changes to the format of the league to be unanimous among its members. This year lets stay at five as I already had a few objections. We can revisit next year.

I vote for 5 spots. Just my opinion but by adding more spots I feel like we are defeating the purpose of this ottoneu setup. One of the most unique things about this site is the salary cap strategy.
