• I was new here and reluctant to take over commish when the last one left, mostly because of how annoying it is to find a time for a live auction draft. But CM wasn’t perfect last year, and it was annoying in so many ways this year. Niv has created a near-perfect game, and I’ve learned I should probably just rely on his tools, so I think it’s back to native Ottoneu draft room next season.

• I gotta say, PW coming in and +1ing my noms after the deadline - after slow playing his own noms the entire draft while I was knocking out 3-4 at a time as soon as they became available - is pretty lame. This is exactly why I left my final noms for the minutes before the deadline - I could tell this was going to happen. We need rules next year to prevent people from sitting on their noms, it’s no different from missing a nom in a live draft.

• I should have a partial record of the auctions but I may need to reconstruct a little bit - I was tracking in excel by team roster rather than by draft order, and generally updating every night, so I think I should have stuff through the last night before the server crash.   @rotten I know the 8 hrs is long, and most slow drafts have like 4 hr clocks. But with the slow auction, everyone is always on the clock. I for one know that there will definitely be 4 hr periods when I can't check, especially on weekends

• Yup, and incredibly, none of the data between the first and second crashes was recorded. So we're back to where we were on Sunday.
  
  I'm at a loss. Unless somebody has a record of all of the auctions that finished and the final prices between then (I don't, regrettably), we'll just have to start again with Fried being the first extended. We can let the slow auction run for another 6 days, end it, and let people finish filling rosters with normal 48 hr auctions.
