Didn't notice the lineup link. Woo hoo! Although setting a lineup once again causes me to wonder what the hell I was thinking in my outfield.

# of times I've clicked on the "List Players by Letter" link: 87,594; # of times I've intentionally clicked on the "List Players by Letter" link: 0

Obviously.

Even if you feel intimidated you can still troll people by insisting that WAR needs to weight RBIs and grittiness differently. And you can always troll me by insisting that Carlos Beltran is the worst Met in history because of that one K in the 2006 NLCS.
-
I've commented at FanGraphs a few times, but generally feel intimidated and that whatever I say, the 99% of their readership that's smarter than me will pick holes in it.
-
I've actually never left a comment at MLB trade rumors. Is that weird? I'm much more likely to comment at Fan Graphs or Amazin' Avenue.
-
Haha, I've definitely done that before.
-
Please tell me I'm not the only one that wastes my time getting in fights on mlbtraderumor's posts.

Thanks again for doing all those great post-draft charts that are now totally out-dated.
-
Hahah... yeah... sorry about that...
-
So much activity! I need to wait until the dust settles a little bit to figure out who's on what team now haha

I'm not expecting to move very far from my current position on those standings, so it would only be a brief reprieve
-
I agree, although I get 8.33% less sad than Emanski.
-
Are the standings going to stick around as-is 'til opening day? I get so sad every time I see my team in 6th place :(

Very cool charts, thanks for doing them. But they don't factor in how all of my players are going to exceed their ZIPS projections.

Very cool charts, TE. I did a power rankings based on estimated salary compared to actual salary via various 2013 projections. I zero'd out prospects. Our rankings are really similar. I have Profar, WILLderness and Deshields higher.

So close to projecting my way out of the basement :(
-
All really interesting stuff! Thanks for putting those together!
-
And yeah, I ommited the money spent on prospects on all these.
-
Ok, ONE more. This graph is show how efficiently money was spent on players that cost MORE than $3. http://i.imgur.com/MBeiZ6t.png
-
Looks like another promising year :)
-
or rather, *those calculations*
-
Did you omit dollars spent on prospects for that calculation?
-
If anyone is curious, the average dollar spend in the draft (once again, disregarding prospects) bought you 78.7 fantasy points.

Haha, I see you wondered the exact same thing as me!
-
And lastly (most interestingly, IMO) a metric to show how efficient everyone was with their money. http://i.imgur.com/hpgU2qL.png
-
Cool stuff! I imagine that since you omitted Minor-Leaguers, teams with more MLBers get a little boost, right? And what about "value per draft dollar spent?" (asks the guy who only had $45 to spend)
-
Here's another chart that kind of shows how "well" everyone drafted. It doesn'e include minor leaguers with no projections available http://i.imgur.com/vzvrmyJ.png
-
I'm suspect of it predicting Weaver taking such a massive fall.
-
It's entire rosters. I can do it again on opening day when everyone has their starting lineups set!
