I own Upton in the same Roto League I own Puig. I know this to be very true.
-
In 16 ABs he has half as many points as BJ Upton all season
-
I know I don't own him here, but Puig is making my week so sweet in my other leagues. They're going to figure him out, but I bet he gets a good month to go crazy at the plate until then.
-
ok guys, that's enough. back to using the message board to bitch about our teams: WTF 4 of my top 5 SP are on the DL, the 5th just got off. SDFHSDUFHSLUDHFLDSUFHWLE

-
Did anyone else see Puig's second dinger last night? That might be the hardest-hit ball I've seen all season.
-
Speaking of things that are crazy: would you like to see a 419-foot home run? Here it is. Seriously. http://cdn.fangraphs.com/blogs/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/DavisEffort1.gif.opt_.gif

Sports radio is the worst. And Philly sports talk radio is the worst of the worst. The fans and analysts here are delusional.
-
I completely agree with everything you are saying about Brian LaHair... I mean Dominic Brown.
-
games before yasiel puig is beaned after an egregious bat flip? i'm putting the over/under at 10 games.
-

-
I made the mistake of tuning into Phillies talk radio yesterday while driving through NJ and the host compared extrapolated Dom Brown's May numbers to a full season and then extended that to a decade career and then compared that to HOFer comparables.

Also, this: http://img.gawkerassets.com/img/18potojx4grctgif/ku-medium.gif
-
Speaking of Dom Brown, check out his statline. He's played the exact same number of games as he did in both 2011 and 2012 (56). It's an interesting comparison.
-
The guy in my front office who traded Dom Brown before his Ruthian homer binge is totally fired.
-
THAT many people were interested in Herrera? Whoops haha
-
Hey everyone - I'm on vacation for the next week (Sunday-Sunday) so I doubt I'll be able to check in. My lineups should stay set if not for injuries. Apologies if I'm slow responding to a trade or message!
-
Deshields will be Quite Operational's trade block has been updated!

Trust me Nyjerz, I was rooting for Piazza over Clemens in that battle all the way.
-
Evidently the downside of owning Salvador Perez is losing him for the season in Venezuela.
-
Bizarro World in the year 2000. These last 4 games were how the Subway Series was supposed to go. This is likely to be the best moment of the year for Mets fans, so I'm taking advantage of the opportunity.
-
The Mets won the World Series? What world would that be?
-
Is it bad to have a quarter of my roster on the DL? Just checking.
-
Go Mets!
-
METS WIN THE WORLD SERIES!
-
I'll tip that. One Nick Franklin homered TWICE off Andrew Cashner and I had Franklin on my bench.
-
errrrrgggggggggg one of my SP (Travis Wood) just homered off my other SP (Jake Peavy) and my feelings are very frustrating right now

If that happens to a Yankee, though, I'm good.
-
They should outlaw those on-field bullpens. What, the game isn't hard enough?

I had 3/5 of the Yankees rotation at first. Then I realized it, vomited uncontrollably, and made some changes.
-
In equally frustrating fantasy news; Granderson back to the DL!
-
pah, and right on cue, the Twins get one-hit (courtesy of Mauer, no less)
-
I'm down from 5 Mariners to 2. I consider this progress.
-
Yep, I somehow ended up with 4 Twins batters worth owning who aren't Mauer... if nothing else, I've accomplished that.
-
No wait, I actually have 7 Mets this year. Forgot about Brandon Lyon.
-
Last year I had something like 10 Mets. This year I'm down to 6. That really should not correlate with winning.
-
Anyone else inadvertently pinning their team's chances to a particular MLB team? I've got 5 Rangers, Kipnis has 5 Indians, and Aroldis has 4 Twins.
-
Small sample size update, 51 games and 51 more home runs to come. Also Francisco Liriano is on pace for the Cy Young.
-
Yeah, but that's based on a small sample size. He could easily hit 60 pinch-hit home runs over the course of the season.
-
At his pace since McCann's return, Evan Gattiis will appear in 51 more games and hit 34 more pinch hit home runs this season.
-
I'm eager to see him play, gotta admit. I only got a few glimpses of him in the WBC.
-
Happy Profar Day, everyone!
