Looking to acquire producing talent now! Willing to give away the future. Let me know if you think you can help.
-
Much like the Mets the Wright Stuff has had an underwhelming year, despite being the clear preseason favorite (According to Polar Bear Pete at least!) Unlike Brodie I'm willing to admit defeat! Wouldn't mind moving Yuli, Workman, or maybe even Max for the right price!
-
Just putting this out there, but I'm open for business before the trade deadline. Pretty much everything is on the table.
-
Wiffle was the clear cut favorite but I managed to come through with the upset in the finals.
-
Ahh I think you're right. I can see the points rankings from 2019 but forgot who won now. LOL. Wasn't it Wiffle Curves?
-
Modesto was the 2018 champ if I remember correctly. Looks like last years results were wiped clean because we changed formats for the shortened year. What a disappointment....
-
We'll have quite the tight finish. Can Modesto Nuts take it two years in a row?? Will San Francisco 8645ers play out a cinderella story and take his time from worst to first in one year?! Keep up the engagement guys we have a great league running. And on that note....Has anyone heard from Vottoman? He hasn't had a transaction in 5 months.
-
Hope everyone is doing well. Quite the positional battles we have going on. Top 6 teams within 450 points of eachother and we still have some time for things to play out. Looking forward to some blockbuster trades in the next few days.
-
I might have gone a little overboard on the IPs to start the year... lol
-
Great start to the season everyone! Looks like we should have a tight race with only 60 games. This is a reminder that the IP Cap and Games Played Cap have been pro-rated for the shortened season.
You have a max of 560 IP this year. You can check you pace under the projected innings at the bottom of your lineups page. Games played projections are there as well.
-
Happy Opening Day everyone!!
-
Thanks, Hitless. Happy Opening Day to you and everyone. Looking forward to a 60-game dog fight....
-
We’ve made it! Happy Opening Day everyone.

Locked, cocked, and ready to rock gentleman. Hope all is well.

-
Good to go here. Fingers crossed...
-
Are we ready to Play Ball ?!? quick check ins everyone. . .I'm here and good to go.
-
Possibly...is 2014 David Roberton available??
-
Would you be interested in David Robertson? ;)

Hello Fellow GM's, with his recent COVID diagnosis, looks like I'll need a replacement for Chapman. IF anyone has a reliever they'd like to deal, I'm open!
-
Ok I've turned playoffs OFF. May the team with the most total points on the last day win!
-
No playoffs seems like the best way to go to me. Hope everyone is happy & healthy!
-
No playoffs seem like the way to go.
-
I'm fine with no playoffs, too. Just glad to have baseball back.
-
8645ers, correct first year was total points at the end of the season.
I agree with no playoffs this year and then business as usual for 2021.
-
I agree, no playoffs this year sounds like the way to go.
-
I agree that for 2020, points total at the end of the season is the way to go. Was that the way the league originally was set up prior to when I joined last season?
-
I agree with the old format as best option— most points at the end win
-
Let me know what you all think, having a one month season and one month playoffs doesn't sound ideal to me but I'm open to majority vote of course.
-
Sounds like we might have baseball by the end of July! With that being said, we'll need to make a decision regarding playoffs. Please read the post at the top of the banner for an update regarding the site, no major changes have been made but of course I'm open to implementing some change.
I'm guessing playoffs would still need to start in september to allow for matchups... This leaves half of the season unplayable for teams so I'm leaning towards the old format. Most points at the end wins.
-
I miss baseball. Hope everyone is doing well.
-
OOTP is such a great game, Dragon! I might just have to reinstall it on my computer. Really wish we had baseball in these tough times.
-
Greetz yall, hope you are well. I am so jonesing to have a baseball game on the radio. . .it's like my comfort white noise I always have in the background during spring/summer/fall. I got into the OOTP Ottoneu LockDown League, it's been filling in the fantasy gap. Check it out, it will sim a week each day now. My team is the Ft.Worth Sun Kings and has Bryan Reynolds leading the league at 10 HRs. https://ootp.ottoneu.com/oll/leagues/league_100_home.html
-
Good point you bring of Hitless. I second Dragonflies here, lets give consideration to that idea once we know a more on what's going to happen. Thanks for the input!
-
Hopefully we get Baseball games! I heard MLB is considering expand rosters in an attempt to fit in more double headers. Having a month of the season taken up with playoffs for us might take up a large portion of the games. It is something to consider when we get closer to an actual opening day and have a clearer picture. Meanwhile we can enjoy watching Bushwakers bushwack thru his 40man roster and the FA market!
-
If the season is shortened by a considerable number of games, what is everyone’s opinion about having playoffs vs total points at the end of the season (like we did year 1)? Under normal circumstances, my preferred method is what the rules currently state. But I’m interested to see what everyone’s opinion is for this year.
-
Bushwackers (beep) complete roster turnover (beep) collision course (beep).

Sorry gang I realized I never did an intro. Probably wondering who this Bushwhackers guy is abusing the transaction board right now. Names Josh. Reside in CA, Favorite team is the SD Padres. 2nd year of Ottoneu. Hobbies include my car, sports, more sports and old mobster movies. Enjoy a nice walk in the park and couldn’t live without The Dan Lebatard Show w/ Stugotz on espn. Occupation: Professional Driver. Looking forward to some baseball whenever it gets going!

Hey all, a new feature, a switch to auto-bench players not in the MLB line-up goes active this season: "The way the switch works when enabled is: if a player is in your lineup as a hitter and is not explicitly in their MLB starting lineup for that day 5 minutes before the officially scheduled game time, they will be moved to your bench for just that day. "
-
Nice- see you all then!
-
Sorry for the late response but the draft will stay at the pre-determined time for tomorrow. Looking forward to it, see you all in 23 hours.
-
I would concur we stay with Sunday. I don't know about the rest if you, but I need baseball now more than ever, hope everyone is safe and healthy!
-
I agree and think we should stick with Sunday.
-
I say we keep draft as is.. everyone has it on the calendar — who knows how long baseball will be delayed— but ottoneu will continue on!
-
Because of the difficulty in getting the schedules of so many people to line up, my thought would be to get this done at the originally scheduled time. I am flexible though, based on the consensus of the league.
-
Draft is currently scheduled for Sunday at 11 am Eastern btw
-
Hey, fellas- are we still looking at drafting on Monday with the season start being pushed back? I'm down for whatever you all think is best. Looking forward to it either way. Hope everyone is safe and healthy!
-
Please note that this site only lets me post the draft in Eastern time so that is why it shows a @ 11. I wish I would have noticed that before I made the poll in pacific, sorry to add to your confusion Hitless LOL.
