Because there's literally nothing substantial to address. Youre just throwing out conspiracy theories. Also that other guy quit because of a trade that wasnt between me and Matt's team. Facts dont care about your feelings

I mean, we've literally had a guy quit the league because he was tired of you two doing exactly this lol. I like how your response is to completely not address it and resort to an insult in my direction though, sure helps your case
-
The deal doesnt need to be processed to laugh at your total incompetence

Deal isn't processed yet pal

Per usual, I am laughing at you. Not concerned at all about "the flashlights aim"

Correct. I agree that I cannot prove collusion here, which is why I am not arguing that for this deal. In all reality I think it's a bunch or overpriced trash going back. I am arguing that moves like this are trash for the competition of the league, and the redundancy of you two swapping studs for guys 1 year out deserves attention. Sorry you don't like that flashlight's aim
-
So absolutely no proof of collusion? Got it.

We can all search the league trade history. You annually swap MEGA deal prospects for studs alternatively. You dilute these lopsided blockbusters that occur early in the season with a litany or trash nonsense dink and dunk moves throughout. I have no doubt that these prospects ripen on Matt's team before you blockbuster studs to finish his squad and run at the title in due time, for his (at the time) current up and comers for cheap. I also have no doubt that I am not only one who see's this.
-
Anyone who is upset about this trade is welcome to trade me their high $ guys on sweetheart deals. Together we can fight the system!
-
Lets hear it now then. What proof do you have of this "collusion"

Nah, if the league is for it, then they are for it and I'll accept that and plan accordingly. To me this league is not like Otto, as it's the only league of my 4 that has $700 squads before game are played almost annually. I don't even had a problem with the quality of this move, just the principal. I have much more ranting to do Pratt, namely in the coincidental collusion of you and Matt
-
I’ve come to accept that these deals are just part of playing Ottoneu. They don’t bother me. I looked at Matt’s team and thought about trying something similar. Pratt had the assets to get it done. I didn’t.
-
"I won't rant or get into the merits of deals like this" but then proceeds to rant and get into it. Just because you don't like a trade doesn't mean you can just call collusion.

Where were your offers? Made it clear to entire league I was accepting bids yesterday. Also, we’re either allowing folks to multi-year plan or not - huge holes in my hitting this year , clearly better for me to play for 2022.
-
I won't rant or get into the merits of deals like this until after the league votes on it, but if we want this league to annually be a circus race (largely between the swapping of studs/propsects between Matt/Pratt) to hoard $800 worth of players, we should let this deal pass. If you're fucking tired of it, please veto. This deal is great in July, it's embarrassing and wrecks the integrity of the league in February.
-
These trades ruin the entire concept of running and managing a dynasty team. Having a costly sell off before games are even played makes for lop-sided competition year in and year out, it's unenjoyable and quite frankly feels like playing in an unfair environment. I don't often suggest collusion or advise a veto, but the fact that you two have danced this line so many times has me second guessing it for the integrity of this league.

You can get Fowler and Alford and lock up that Pittsgurgh CF slot
-
Actively seeking 1-2 outfielders
-
congrats all getting it done in one session, was fun
-
My attention is going to be fairly hit or miss the first hour or so. Had something come up. I'm going to try to keep an eye on the draft, but I apologize in advance if I miss a nom. Don't change anything around for me though.
-
I might be a few minutes late, too, but also no need to wait.
-
May be a little late for the draft, don't hold up for me, I have ~no money to spend lol.
-
Looks like it’s going to be one session, hopefully we can move fast and finish in 3 hours
-
I'd prefer a single session.
-
I'm a vote for a single session.
-
Eh can we just leave it?
-
We can split in two sessions if we can find times to agree on. How does March 2nd at 730 work?
-
One session please
-
If it’s 3-4 hours are folks able to commit to that? Seems like there’s not much consensus as to a second date.
-
If we can all agree on a second time I'd be in favor of splitting the draft over two days so we don't end up in a marathon
-
Id prefer to just get it done in one night if we could as well

I have a work trip the first week of March so am out that week. I am fine with two days but would rather do back to back days if possible. Since all expensive guys are probably done after the first night what is wrong with just capping the time and doing the normal free agent auction-style for the rest, as we do in season?

Pretty sure it's at most a 3 hour affair, 2 90 min drafts sounds much worse to me, just delaying roster unlocks
-
...D R A F T is like...FOREVER AWAY...on a Tuesday...with like a million people to draft...
-
What do I win
-
Awesome stats clogging
-
Great stats! Was a fun period , look forward to the auction and a new season!
-
Some info on our hot stove period:
44 trades involving 161 different players
All 12 teams made a move
Most Trades - Punchface with 20 (!!)
Most Players In/Out - Pitter Patter with 42
Largest Trade - Pratt & Matt, 14 players
Guys on the Move - Jose Ramirez, Jorge Soler, Kyle Hendricks each traded 4 times
-
Let’s just keep the date as is at this point , everyone agreed to that. Too hard to coordinate 12 schedules
-
Yeah I hate the freeze as well but can't draft on such short notice either, no evenings this week work for me.
-
Im in Florida on vacation for a week and won't have access to a computer
-
Sure, but I might be RIGHT AT 7:30. I've got class until then.
-
I'd do it
-
10*
-
If 11 other people can and want to draft tomorrow, sure. The total freeze is worst part of season
-
Can we draft tomorrow instead?
-
23rd works for me
-
Shoot, my bad! I totally should have checked for any news on the opening day topic before posting. Given they comprised already (still shocked about that), I’m cool with any date. The opening day thing was my only hang up. 23rd works for me.

In spirit of compromise, pushed it to Feb 23rd. Hope this date works for everyone

I'm not picky on early/late
