• For the record, Eric Longenhagen gives Brennan Davis a 55 Future Value and Shea Langeliers and Bobby Miller a 50 Future Value. I also really like Jordon Montgomery in St. Louis. If you check the standings, you will see the BE has a small lead on us in pitching, but is kicking our ass in hitting. The number of vetoes is recorded in the record of the trade. There were two votes for, one veto and nine abstentions. I was one of the votes for.

• I hear you. I would chalk it up to diverging priorities for the two teams. I’m chasing a championship and they’re rebuilding. Prospect values are subjective but if you look at MLB.com’s rankings, they’re all top 30 prospects and close to the majors (SL just called up actually). And they cost $3 combined.

• There may be more FA than you realize. Out of the top 150 players in Ottoneu (by ‘Last 10’ salary), almost 1 out of 10 are still free agents. Out of top 300, it’s about 1 out of 12. And keep in mind, they’re not the only players affected. If Carlos Correa signs with NYY, that affects Gio Urshela too.

• Nancy’s has clearly been abandoned. We should look for a new owner. I don’t think we should worry about the retrospective arb. Teams, including me, have already cut players who might have gotten arb dollars. As for fairness, Nancy’s got the fewest arb dollars put against it. And we should find a draft date and hope there’s a season.

• 3) I am a big believer that arb is a big part of maintaining competitive balance in Ottoneu. I would vote to allow Nancy's to arb between now and the keeper deadline (especially if a new owners in brought in). It's not fair for Nancy's to be hit with arb dollars, and not be able to allocate to other teams. I would vote that all players who were part of offseason trades be exempt from arb dollars, as that could have tipped the scale in deals. Thoughts?
