• Well, I keep learning. I thought I could bid on Kershaw. I knew I couldn't put him up for auction, but I thought I could bid on him. Learned that only after 30 days could I have placed a bid. Oh, well. Taxman got a much more reasonably priced Clayton. Surprised more managers didn't place a bid. Where once I had too many starters, now I'm a little thin. Carrasco and Richards going on the DL after I cut Clayton makes my move questionable, alright.

• Wiggs 1.If you want to move a two-way player to the bench, make sure you look at the “hitters” portion of the lineup page. Two-way players can only live on the hitters bench. 2.In order to move a two-way player into an active slot, the slot has to be empty. Move whoever is there to the bench first, and then move your two-way player in. 3.Relatedly, if you want to move another player into a slot that currently has a two-way player in it, you will need to move the two-way player to the bench.

• Responding the the preseason email from a couple of days ago: This year is now paid! I have no strong preference for weekend or weeknight. As of right now, I will be out of town the 14th - 20th, so those days are bad for me. Other than that, right now I am good for any dates. I think the closer to season start the better.

• Because I'm silly, I actually randomly picked 9 pitchers from those 129, 10 different times and outscored my pitching staff 7 times out of 10. My staff has scored 2380 and the average of the 10 randomly picked staffs was 2559.

• So get this: Out of the 129 SP who have at least 10 starts I have the 8th, 29th, 53rd, 66th, 82nd, 96th, 102nd, 124th and 126th ranked pitchers in points per start. I literally could have picked 9 random pitchers out of a hat and done better. There are 7 free agents ranked between my 29th (Duffy) and 53rd (Cueto) ranked pitchers. It's amazing I'm in 7th place.
