• More tests today. Still hanging in. Bad and good news. Bad--2 new infarcts in the frontal lobes. More volume loss in the in the temporal lobes, amygdala, and hippocampus. Good--The Dr. suspects smoking and drinking to blame, which I consider necessary for quality of life.

• Hi Guys! No hiding it anymore. I've been battling Chronic Stroke Syndrome. Mostly brain/ischemic strokes. No ability to walk or any athletic coordination. Dementia and memory getting worse, but can still communicate well(I think). Hanging in there! Wife will assist with draft prep and draft, and weekly moves. • Drafts typically last up to three hours, though some owners are done much more quickly (I’m typically done after an hour or so). There is no way to end the draft until all owners are done bidding, and owners are free to join and quit at any time.
  
  Since it’s already a pretty late start for you, let’s go ahead and keep it at 6pm PDT/9pm EDT on the 22nd and hope everyone can make it on time. Thanks all!

• I can make the 22nd work but the time is definitely an issue. How long do drafts usually take in this league? I start work very early in the morning so moving it back later is not ideal.

• I had set the time on the early side because we have a couple people drafting back East and didn’t want to start too late for them. Mike, Peter, all right with you if we push the start of the draft back 30 minutes or an hour?

• Thanks, Commish, count me in for the 22nd. Why not agree on a fixed time for our draft, to avoid some GMs (like me in the past) from snagging cheap players. Or agree when you stop drafting, the draft is over. Understanding you cannot moderate the length, I'm sure we will all abide by a gentleman's agreement. Excited baseball is back.

• We usually draft at the beginning of spring training, but the 22nd is going to be closer to the middle. There’s no way to moderate draft length—some people are done in an hour and some wait until the end to try to snag cheap players and prospects. I have no power to end the auction—it only ends when all teams are finished drafting.
