April 27, 2025 2:54 PM : Atlanta claimed Anderson off waivers from the Angels on Sunday.
Analysis: Anderson will make his return to the organization that drafted him in 2016 after Atlanta previously traded him to the Angels in March. He was included in the Angels' Opening Day bullpen and posted a 11.57 ERA, 2.57 WHIP and 8:7 K:BB across 9.1 innings before being dropped from the 40-man roster Wednesday. Since Anderson doesn't have minor-league options remaining, he'll report to Atlanta and will likely assume a low-leverage role out of the bullpen.
