• What are some examples of salaries? I think the largest arbitration raise possible would be $33, and I have e.never seen an arb hit that high. Some guys are just on good contracts.

• Do most players in the league typically remember to do their arbitration allocation? There are some guys with large surplus numbers and I'm curious as to how they didn't get a salary bump from arbitration. Of course, three of the five or so largest surplus guys are all on one team, which limits how much damage the rest of the league can do in arbitration.

Prior to that, we lived in Spokane, WA (my hometown) for a year and in the Phoenix area for several years.
