We do not have an overnight freeze. But we do have an 8-hour reset. So if the current winner is outbid toward the end of the auction, the auction timer resets to 8 hours.
Sorry, not at the computer, I cannot remember the window for that reset.
Also, we can do an overnight freeze, if it is wanted.

My cuts will be done by Friday noon at the latest, but I should be able to do them today.
Moreover, I've never used couch managers, I would like to familiarize myself with the interface a bit.

No strong preference for us. Like Jazz said I’d give the new owner some time to dive into the leagues cuts and make them as he wants. Maybe next week?

I think the earlier the better. Another league is starting our slow auction next week Monday. As was mentioned in that league chat, the slow auction can take a while, and we want time in between the draft and Season Opener for trades.

Welcome to the league! I believe that you'll really enjoy the friendly competition here. We will eventually set you up on Couch Managers for our slow draft Starting in early March.
As far as cuts go, make sure you go to the cut players tab on your team page. You must make all your cuts at once. Please don't cut players individually.

Hello everyone, I'm going to take over the "No owner" team. I just wanted to know how we handle the free cut round?
Do I proceed with my cuts as usual? I should be able to pay and make my cuts by the end of the day or later tomorrow morning.

No Owner has been abandoned. We will be looking for a replacement Owner. That owner will be allowed a round of penalty free cuts when they take over the team.
Everyone else is paid up and we will soon be getting ready for our slow draft.

Hey everybody, we are about one week away from the BIG Deadline. January 31 marks the league renewal date. I hope everybody plans on returning. If not, please let us know.
January 31 is also the penalty free cut Deadline and the last day to pull off a trade.
Couch Managers is just about full ahead of our slow draft. Again, if anyone is having and problems with our slow draft please let us know.

Great, the auction page is filling...thanks everyone! I am changing user names to Team Names, which will make it easier for me to sync rosters when I import the. So far, I changed Greco to Tunnicliff Inn, mroschew to Darnestown Demons, and bcavehill4 to Vaas' Pirates. Let me know if those were incorrect.

I've also never co-managed a team. I would imagine the two managers just need to share the Couch Managers login information and discuss amongst yourselves about who to target and what to bid. Given that we'll have several hours to bid on each player that is being auctioned I don't imagine it will be much of an issue. (In the slow draft I just did, each player being auctioned was up for 12 hours, and then when a new winning bid was placed, the timer reset to 8 hours.)

I can look later. Other than sharing an account and password, so that all managers are logged in and can make changes in the draft room, I am not certain there is an answer.
I guess just lots of emailing to discuss draft strategy. How do you typically handle an auction? I have never co-managed, and am uncertain how it works.

Hey everybody. Sandpipers has set up our draft on Couch Managers. Please use the link provided earlier to set up your account. Rosters can be downloaded as soon as February 1 and we will be ready to go. The key is to familiarize everyone with the mechanics so there are no issues once we set a draft date and are ready to begin.

I imported rosters for the three of us who are in the auction already, just as proof that I understand what to do. Everything looks good for my roster.
This will have to be repeated...but it appears as though the roster import works well.

If everyone wants to start logging into couch managers to populate the auction, that would be helpful. Not having run one before, I am still uncertain how to set the draft order, for instance. Or maybe that does not matter because we have simultaneous auctions.
