• FWIW the ottoneu announcement says they'll allow drafts up to the new MLB opening day, whenever it is. Personally I don't have a strong opinion on whether we delay ours.

• Prospects can be added to either your minor league roster or your 40 man. Minor league roster adds only happen via the slow draft at the beginning of the year, or via trade. Prospects added to your 40 man can be added at the main auction, or throughout the year. Once they are added to your 40 man, they can not be moved to your minor league roster. • Maine Martian is correct, you can call up minor league players to your active roster for $1 between Jan 31st and the minor league draft, and this will give you an extra pick in the draft. Jan 31st is the free cut date. Any player on your minor league roster cut prior to Jan 31st will not cost you anything. After Jan 31st, if you want to cut a player from your minor league roster, he will first be added to your active roster for $1, then you can cut him from there.

• The cut date for the prospects is the same as for regular players, Jan 31st at midnight. Please post your minor league cuts on this message board. The minor league draft will be a slow draft on this message board after the auction. It usually takes 10-14 days to complete. Any player in the minors with zero major league service time, and not currently on an active roster in our league is eligible to be drafted. College/High School players and players in foreign leagues are not eligible.

• You can cut all of your prospects if you want or keep all of them. Any prospects you keep, will be kept with you last picks in the minor league draft. If you keep 3 prospects, you will have your 1st and 2nd round picks in the minor league draft. Your 3rd, 4th and 5th round picks will be keepers. If you keep 5 prospects, you won't have a pick in the minor league draft.

• I added the September call ups to the respective rosters: Gavin Lux added to The Juan G's; Jesus Luzardo added to Grandpa Brunner & Sean Murphy added to El Guapo. All for $1. The Minor League Roster google doc has been updated as well. Please remember, minor league roster cuts are due at the keeper deadline, Jan 31st. As with previous years the minor league draft will be a slow draft on this message board after the major league auction.

This will allow you to keep him for next year at $1. My default is to leave all September call ups on your MiLB roster until after arbitration.
