You are dead wrong in Cole, Danny I was up out bid and stepped out to focus on Sasaki and Burnes, thinking Cole would go even higher

I think that if we give it 24 hours, we'll have all the players sorted. I would be surprised if people will not be honest. We're not playing for big money. And frankly, we can probably collectively remember who won each player. I was watching the auction pretty closely and recording results as they went.
-
Otto, you are by far my favorite trading partner and I love comparing players with you. There is no doubt we will make several trades this seaon. But, I really believe everyone will be honest with who and what they got. If I didn't trust these guys I would not be in this league.

Guys, the point is, if we can't verify ALL players that were won then it's an advantage for managers. Especially, like Cole for instance that Say Hey won him for, for like $30 but how can we verify this if he doesn't step up and acknowledge this?
-
I thought Lou won Gallen, Castillo and Cole. I could be wrong but I know he was involved in them.

I remember Otto having Arrighetti because I remember thinking I didn't understand his valuation of him after that bid and seeing trade offers with him involved.

The objection to restarting the draft is that managers believe the numbers are correct and have won players at bids they prefer. It seems extremely likely that someone is going to lose a player they want or pay more for them. That's completely unfair.
I can attest that that spreadsheet has my players correct, and is at very least extremely close on the others because I recognize the bids. Forgoing the spreadsheet and redrafting because it may be off a dollar or two is far less fair

Before the site had crashed, my dad (say-hey) and I were talking about the auction and he mentioned getting Gausman. So I think that was him.

My understanding (and vote) is all players whose auction was finished (through Nootbar 12$) we keep the result. My records match Mantis', they are also verified by others. All the auctions that were live at the time of the crash will be put back into the pool.
-
I definitely remember seeing Arrighetti at $7 for Otton-Wan, and I think that's how it ended, too.

My objection is we don't have all the numbers correct, therefore it's more of an advantage if we resume with wrong numbers that go for or against a player.
I don't see the objection of just restarting the draft. We still have plenty of time and it's the only way to insure that we didn't get anything wrong. I don't see any advantage of restarting because all things are equal for all managers.
-
I'm not sure I understand your objection. It's my understanding that we're going to give each owner the players won according to Colonic's spreadsheet then restart the auction for everyone else. Am I misunderstanding?

I don't think this is the right thing to do guys. We need to vote on this, if we really want to go through with resuming through draft.
I know Cole went to Say Hey kid around $30 or so, but I don't remember exactly which herein lies the problem.

I was bidding on Steer but some jerk (don't know who but just playing on the jerk part) outbid me with under an hour left. Ha

I had Glasnow at $26

Agreed Shock
-
I concur with Shocknawe and Sweep. No way I want to start over completely. I am open to restarting those whose bidding was not completed, but not the others. I haven't noted much, if any, discrepancies. If we can't agree unanimously then it should come down to a majority vote.

I do not have a problem restarting the draft for the players currently in auction. I do have a problem if we do not keep the players we know were completed.

I think we're pretty good. Most every drafted player is claimed. Once it's settled every undrafted player goes back out for nominations. Sounds good to me.
-
What $ have I gotten wrong? I don't remember Arrighetti. I think we have everyone else.
-
If we don't have exact results of winning auctions I don't think we can comfortably resume the draft where we left off. There's too much discrepancy. I don't see how there's is any advantage if we restart. I really like the prices of the two guys I got, but I feel a lot better having to pay more or not getting them, in a new draft than resuming the draft and getting the $$$s wrong.
-
I'm pretty sure otto-wan won Luis Robert? I don't remember Trea Turner. Pitchers still to be claimed are Gausman, Glasnow, Gallen, Castillo, and Gerrit Cole (<--oof, condolences, hope he'll be ok). I bid on almost all those pitchers but don't remember who won them (wasn't me!).
-
I'll be able to give people the nominations necessary to re-form the draft board, but can't do it automatically as the draft manager.
-
I must regretfully report that someone had bumped Yandy Diaz to $20, but I was still winning that auction.

I only drafted Strider $29 and McClanahan $14. I had 5 leading bids when the site crashed. Is what it is at this point if we throw those players back out.
-
Correct. I bumped Suarez to $15

i confirm that I did not win Trout (very sad). Suarez was bumped too. and the website crashed with Bogaerts at 3h and 25 min because it's when I tried to pause the draft and was refreshing to see if that time was going down.
-
I had Torres, Bichette, Bregman, Tatis, and Wilson. Those values are the same as the numbers I tracked for my own players.
What a clutch find, great job Colonic

I think that's exactly right - and Say hey bumped Eugenio Suarez to $15, bc I lamented that.
-
On those shots, I know I got Nootbaar at $12. Trout got upbid and bumped up 12 hours. I don't think anyone else finished.
-
I did get Canning. Say hey got Nola and Burnes. Otto got Arrighetti

I wish I did - I could only screenshot the already-open page. Once I tried to navigate elsewhere, the site pooped the bed.
-
Hey Colonic, the screenshot are really blurry for me, do you have screenshots of the final results for guys?
-
Message shrimp (or post here) to claim your players off his list - I had Jansen at $5, Morel at $10 (probably a mistake on my part), and Jake Burger at $14. And I know somebody bought Griffin Canning for $1 because I checked his stats and was horrified about what he might do on the mound for my Mets. Here is the draft as last I saw it:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Relzign-m2pa3o9oUdIiE-UZV9uxAF_mQvEAu8V1mUI/edit?usp=sharing
-
Sweet! Thanks Colonic! If you have screenshots that's awesome! I feel A LOT more comfortable actually having the real $ what people paid for guys than everyone trying to remember haha
-
All is not lost. My initial instinct was to just restart fresh - there's an argument that some of the prices resolved because money was tied up in pending auctions that now have to be restarted. But I think we'll be able to save this through (1) Shrimp's list, and (2) I took screenshots of the pending auctions at 10:58 AM on Thursday, in between crashes, which we can use to [somewhat voluntarily] get to the same spot we were in.

Only player I had won was Ryan Jeffers

I will start adding players (in new color) mentioned here, and noting who won them because I was not tracking that. I'll do all of that with a different color font so you can see what was added.
-
Right, I deleted Sasaki because I didn't trust his projection, but $31 sounds right. I think Nola did go, and before Cole and McClanahan. I think McClanahan ended shortly before the site fell apart. I was considering a +1 on him until the last second. :)
-
Has the teams been added on the draft site.

Of the players won, I claimed Freddie at 38$ and Lourdes Gurriel Jr at 11$. I also think Mantis is missing Canning (SP mets) that was bought at 1 or 2$ early
-
I know I missed Griffin Canning for $1 (I think) and Arrighetti (do not know...maybe about $8?).
