Same issue in Chrome, and again only for minors. So if it looks like you can only move one player to the minors, just reload the page and you'll get another empty spot.

Yep, only for me, after I did that once, there wouldn't be a blank line the second time. Reloaded the page and I'd get one blank line again. No problems moving players anywhere else, and moving someone from the minors back to bench, etc. restored the one blank line. Could be add-on related, as I have AdBlock Plus on high alert on both work and home Firefox. I'll check Chrome, but since you don't see a problem, I may not have one there either.

Weird. I’m not seeing that. If you click on the green box to the left of the player’s name you should then be able to click on a blank line (indicated by “Click here to add a target”) for the minors to move them down there.
-
Don't know if other people are seeing this, but I had to reload the page every time I moved someone to a minors spot so that it would give me a place to move another to the minors.

Offseason salary increases have been applied to your teams. Arbitration will start here in a few days. You can use the “Roster Organizer” tool to start playing around with your roster by grouping players as starters, bench players, minor leaguers, players to trade, and players to cut. Players marked as “trade” or “cut” are not included in the tool’s calculation of your overall team salary.
-
Hey guys, just to piggyback off my email yesterday, let me know if you’re planning to drop the league. I want to get any replacements before arbitration starts. Thanks!
-
Hey fellas! As we come down to the end of the season, keep in mind players can be auctioned out of the free agent pool only until October 1. If you’ve got some no-talent flotsam that you know you’re going to cut in the offseason, think about doing it now and go after someone that might have value.

Just a reminder, the trade deadline is August 31 - start the rebuild or make a run for the money while you can!

That is the most hilarious margin I've ever seen

After yesterday's action, I have taken a commanding lead over Paul. #endtheseasonnow

Look Ryan, I also typed cone instead of come. There's no edit button on posts. Shut your face and make an offer if you're interested.
-
So do you prefer nailing those who are under 22?
-
I am guessing you all saw my two trades, but if you're tooling up for a stretch run, cone on down to Crazy Chris's Fire Sale, where pretty much no one over 22 is nailed! Do you have Baseball America Or Fangraphs top prospects? Do you want someone who can help you now? Hit me up!
-
Well, it will be until someone hits their IP cap (hint: not me) ... same deal with G, although I am unlikely to hit my cap at positions other than C.
-
This is a heck of a tight race gentlemen. Good work and keep it up.
-
Yep - Daniel Altavilla posted a -40.90 last Saturday: 1 IP, 4 H, 5 R, 4 ER, 1 HBP, 0 BB, 1 K, 3 HR. Fortunately he is anchored to my bench, since he's averaging about 2 P/IP and about 3 HR/9.

So my pitcher scored -37.40 last night. That's fun. Got me thinking...is that the worst pitcher scoring performance in our league this year? Can anyone top that?
-
FYI, as players from the MLB draft are signed, they're added into the player pool. If AJ Bumpass signs, I'm starting the auction and changing my team name.
-
I have 11 people on the DL and Freddie Freeman just broke his wrist and is out for 10 weeks. It was a fun league while it lasted!

I like to think of myself as an optimist!
-
OTOH, if your available options are posting steady -3s to -5s ... well, the scant possibility of positive numbers in the future is better than the certainty of negative numbers in the past.
-
Friendly reminder: keep an eye on your "Games Played" breakdown at the bottom of the lineup page. You want to be sure you don't get too far behind in projected games played for each position. It isn't hard to make up games at catcher or innings pitched, but getting too far behind at 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, MI, or OF can be killer to your point total.

That's correct - the Roster Organizer is useful for that, as well as planning out any prospective moves. Note that marking someone as "Cut" on the Roster Organizer doesn't actually cut them. It's primarily an off-season tool, so it does not reflect the cap hits you incur when you cut a player during the season.
-
Helpful tip: if you are over the 40-man limit and you're getting frustrated because the site keeps redirecting you to the Cut Players page without showing you which ones to cut, the Roster Organizer is your friend - it shows the same stats your lineups page does, and it's not locked down when you're over 40. (Players or years old.)
-
We're just over two weeks in and I hope everyone is enjoying the league so far! From a commissioner's perspective, thanks to everyone for being consistently active. If anyone has any questions, don't hesitate to send them my way. Good luck!

Ah, the joys of being a developer on a sports site. Looks like the feed is live-ish again. (About the same as the bottom of the MLB.tv page, which is oddly behind the live feed; probably because the page uses the same API that Fangraphs uses.)
-
Nope, you aren't the only one. Someone else posted about it on Slack. Looks like they've already pinged Niv (the guy who runs the site)
-
It's typical early-season stuff, though. A couple of hours before first pitch on Sunday, Yahoo didn't show any players for Sunday's games. I don't know when they fixed it (I set my lineups on Saturday), but I'm sure they heard about that from a lot of people!
-
ah, it's not just me. I see a forum post about it. Anything in Slack? I haven't signed up yet, mostly because I don't want another communication service that I use for exactly one purpose (although given how terrible Skype for Business for Mac is at work, we might consider it), but it'd be interesting to see other people posting about it.
