After a lot of consideration and speaking to fellow fantasy players, we will not draft until a CBA is signed. What that means is:
-Ignore the draft date on the league page
-There will be a very quick turnaround from CBA to draft, so we can't do a doodle. I'll pick a date and time. I can't guarantee everyone can be there. Please have a proxy in mind and message me ASAP if you can't make the scheduled time. I can help set up proxies for people.

In my humble opinion, I feel we should conduct business as if the regular season will not be interrupted. If there is a major delay then we all lose out as baseball fans anyway.

I totally understand that. My thinking is we may have only about 2-3 weeks from the date the lockout ends to the start of the season, so we'd have a narrow draft window. Because of that, there's a greater chance that not everyone can make it to the draft and I would ask all of us to try and find proxies not only for ourselves if we can't draft, but if someone else can't draft, we should help each other.
That's the only way I see waiting to pick a draft date working. Thoughts?

Just putting this out there - I'm strongly opposed to selecting a draft date before the lockout gets resolved just based on the amount of free agency that has to play out. Also feel like length of season (marathon v sprint) could really alter draft strategy. And depending on how much season gets lost, I wouldn't be opposed to one more round of penalty free cuts before a draft. Any thoughts guys?

As of now, Ottoneu has no plans to extend the keeper deadline past 2/15 so get those trades and cuts in.

24 hours for trade waiting is totally fine with me. I’m not sure I’ve seen a trade in this league that was questionable. Y’all are all stand up guys. Only trades I’ve seen are ones that I wish I got in on. Lol

As mentioned, if the keeper deadline is extended beyond 1/31, we may adjust the draft date depending on where the new deadline falls with respect to our draft date.
If the season is delayed, we will do our best to delay the draft date.

Hey all! Just a reminder that the keeper deadline, as of now, is still January 31st, so get those trades and cuts in. Niv has said that he'll make a decision in the next few weeks on whether to extend the deadline, but for now, let's operate as if he won't. I'm going to send out a poll to determine the draft date with options in February and early March so please respond! If the deadline/season gets pushed back, we'll likely alter the draft date as well.

No Names told me they cut Manaea by mistake so I put him back on their team at $8. While we all need to be careful with our transactions, I'm always happy to reverse a simple mistake like that.
In the event of a trade dispute though, both parties need to agree on the change or show me the communication to justify a change.

Does anyone oppose moving to a 24 trade waiting period? I'm also happy to keep it 48 during the offseason while people are more disconnected then 24 in season when we're all a little more plugged in.
