And that is the deadline for Choo. Berkley is now on the clock, following which Choo will be back on. Berkley you’re up.

I don’t necessarily disagree with that. Come on people, let’s move
-
Maybe next year we shorten the time limit. It's been almost 15 hours since the last pick
-
Kyle Wright is not eligible, he was on my roster at end of season.
-
I will take Kyle Wright of ATL

I confirm that he's Marlins OF
-
I don't remember which top 100 list I got it from and don't have the time to redo the research. Just go with the OF.
-
Is it possible that you have the name slightly off? MiLB.com, FanGraphs and baseball America all only have the one that plays outfield and was traded to the marlins. Can you find a link to share with us?
-
As my post indicates SP, MIL
-
You raise a good point, I just paid attention to the name and I'm really sucking at this job right now. Hitless, when you say Monte Harrison...do you mean the OF that got traded to Miami, or is there another Monte Harrison still with Milwaukee that's a SP?
-
Indeed!
-
Is Harrison the outfielder who got traded to Miami?
-
Harrison is confirmed. Choo is up. Clock will only run till midnight EST, starts back up at 8am EST. So clock on pick technically ends at 2pm
-
Monte Harrison, SP,MIL
-
Hitless is still on the clock for his pick, and the clock does not reset.
-
So, Scared Hitless is back on the clock? Does the clock start over with the incorrect pick?
-
It's not easy bein cheesy
-
Haha, you can take that however you like, but checking the spreadsheet before selecting is a good idea.
-
Ok DUDE
-
Dude, load the spreadsheet with the MiLB rosters. THAT is where is on Midwest's roster.
-
He is currently on Midwest’s MiLB roster. He was cut 7/14 because he wasn’t eligible to be picked up on a MLB roster.
-
My mistake.
-
He is a FA
-
I just looked again and he never had an at bat in the major leagues that I can see.
-
Correct. Tucker is currently on Midwest's roster and not eligible.
-
He was cut because he was already on a MILB roster.
-
I select Kyle Tucker, Houston, OF. He was cut on 7/14.
-
Ruiz is good, Scared Hitless is on the clock
-
KEIBERT RUIZ please
-
Again, I have no issue putting it up for a vote next offseason. Someone just remind me.
-
Okay, random order it is!
-
I disagree with GoGo. Snake drafts only exist for the purpose of fantasy sports in order to neutralize the effect of random draft orders. Crappy teams need to have the benefit of the top players in each round for the sake of parity. Yes I understand the ability to sign these players partially negates the process, but I believe the league needs to follow more MLB-like guidelines for authenticity.
-
Lol. Sorry about that.

Dutchmen is skipped, Midwest is now on the clock.
-
Pretty sure nobody is cool with me drafting an 11th guy...but I am game if you want to toss me one of yours!!
-
Rooker good. Dutchmen you are up.

Oh and I"ll confirm Rooker as well.
-
I think we should randomize the order every year. Chaos is the only way to live.
-
I select Brent Rooker, MIN.
Someone else confirm that one please
-
Luzardo is good. I’m next up.
-
Jesus Luzardo, please.
-
Won’t make any changes to current draft or season as we are already underway and don’t like to change things after people have paid in for season, but I have no issue with holding a vote next offseason when we do changes. I will say that I tend to agree with Go Go on it.
-
As I argued so eloquently last year, the purpose of the MiLB5 Draft is not to create parity in the league. The added advantage of premium picks in the draft should be enough of a "benefit" for worse teams.
-
But I would say at least 8 votes needed to switch it
-
We can revisit it for next year. I'm sure most guys will reject it at this point since we started
-
It will not be in my favor to do that. But I agree on the order of the draft. I think now that we have the MiLB established it should be a reverse order of standings only draft. But for this change to happen this year now I think we would need a good amount in favor of it. More than 50%. Like 75%?

It was part of last year’s negotiations when it was started, basically to get it implemented, the compromise was after the main draft so people still had opportunity to buy whoever, and snake draft.
-
I'm honestly not sure why we do snake draft for Milb. They don't do this in the real draft. Just sayin....
