One thing that will definitely be true is that the new owner will have a huge advantage grabbing pop up guys in spring/early season.

I think once we open the team up, someone will pick it up. We've had that happen in the past & people go through the rebuild and know it's a project. Don't think we'll have trouble finding an owner for that team at all, comish, clear the current owner & let's let someone else grab it. I wouldn't be opposed to coming up w/ some sort of thing where each team sends a player over to that new owner of similar value...but by the time we agree to rules & details about that, don'

Very tough to offer a new owner the ability to draft this year. It would be difficult/unfair for the owners that did draft in a traditional snake draft without player values - but with an auction and a budget I don't see a way. I think its more feasible to get an owner that knows they have almost no chance to compete this year with an eye on 2020 with what he has available. It stinks - but I dont see another way

Don't want to step on toes being the new guy, but is that going to necessitate a complete redraft? How realistic is it to find someone to take over post-draft in a league like this?

Damn. The team has some good pieces but it'll definitely be hard to take over after missing the draft. I'll see if anyone I know is interested.

I thought that part of the point of doing the draft this Sunday was that so it could be at 3:00pm EST to accommodate Mex overseas?
