Congrats to BW for being the 3rd best team in 5x5 ON leagues so far. At least we're getting beat by one of the best so far. Our league is 9th overall. Not bad (although I have no idea how many 5x5 leagues there are). http://www.fangraphs.com/fantasy/ottoneu-april-power-rankings/

Just for fun, I ran the trade through Fangraphs auction calc. Harper 64, Kluber 42, Harvey 42, Santana 12, Zimmerman 1, Lynn 0. Marte 39, Ortiz 28, Maeda 20, Carter 9, Gregerson 6, Stephenson -12. So close to a fair trade for this season, other than the 70$ loan. Then a lil girl has a 17+ Marte and a 16+ Maeda next season.

I know the league is going to veto. But what's to stop a lil girl from making other horrible deals? Isn't this game supposed to be fun?

Gregorian is keeping the closer chair warm for Giles. Carter is a 220 hitter who should be on the bench 90% of the time. Ortiz is retiring. Stephenson is a decent prospect who pitches half his games in a hitters park. Maeda is a no 3 at 14$. Where is the value?! This is a joke, I can't believe anyone is even arguing it

Fellas - leta keep things civil here - you may or may not like what others do in the league - but thats why we have mechanisms like veto - no more personal attacks here

Ive been in this league since January of 2013. I worked hard to build a team that can compete. And you come in a couple months ago and make a trade that kills it. And then you try to defend it!

Then I am able to dump off Zimmerman which I am not a big fan of for Papi. Papi will retire this year and hopefully carter can be my long term first baseman. As far as pitching, I did give up a lot of talent but I feel I am loaded at pitching. And I was willing to give up a little bit more to add young talent. I got maeda which has been dominant this year so far as well. The only thing I wanted which I didn't get was Cano. I wanted can in here for zorbist

Let's really analyze my trade. Let's start with Harper. He is the most expensive player in the game which I probably won't be able to keep next year. Aren't we taught to buy low and sell high? Well I sold him at the peak of his game. And I got three players for 1 dollar in return which I will be able to keep for years. Gregorson, Carter, and Stephenson. I also got a great outfielder in matte which doesn't replace Harper but gives me what I need until my young players develop

My selling off the team (which has since rightly been corrected) was done to get people to pay attention. I believe that happened. More people commented on this tonight then we have comments for an entire season. This could have easily slipped by. I have quit. My team will be available next year. But as for you, you're one in the same as Bama. You're comments aren't any better.
