Stanton for sale. Moving him quick. Preferably for a starter
-
Yasee-ya Puig

Anyone looking for a RP?
-
Oh no! Look we don't comment on auctions very much. But look guys, this is important. You do not want Liriano. He is toxic. He will eat away the talent of all of your pitchers and you will trade for more and more. Pitchers who are good. Pitchers who have always been good. But they will no longer be good. They will be terrible. Your season will be lost. Your franchise ruined. And all because you thought you needed Liriano. Anyway don't say I didn't warn you.
-
More owners need to think like shizzo. Good man
-
lets talk
-
I need a big bat... Anyone selling?
-
Failcisco Liriano
-
Huh? Oh. Yeah I mean except for him. Obviously.
-
Isn't Brendan Rodgers in A ball too Mr Cochran?
-
7 of the last 10 transactions have been made my No More Wonger. What world is this?
-
Gleyber Torres is 19 years old peeps. He is in A-ball. Why would anyone in Otto roster a guy like that?
-
this never works, but does anyone want to trade for arrieta?
-
I sat Garcia and maybin today... Do I still get the points from yesterday?
-

anyone have another SS for sale? Lol what the shit am I DOING/!!!!! (Sam Kinison Voice)
-
hooooaahhh!!!!
-
Doesn't matter, we are cancelling that trade and another one will be out shortly with no player to be named.
-
hahaha, It was a fun idea... Just didnt think it through all the way, but your vet scenerio never would cross my mind as an option
-
What about the 10 year veteran in a rehab stint in AAA, is he eligible to be claimed?
-
Any name with and A,AA,AAA behind it seems like a prospect to be named later. I am not sure what other option there is. I know what your saying though, I just thought of this situation (thinking as I type)... Iglesias was a high valued asset before the season, but is considered a prospect. He had to go down to minors through his rehab. Would that be conisdered a propect? Too much grey area...
-
It may work for you two. I have some concerns about how this could be abused. I used your trade as an example because that is what we are working with today, but there is potential this becomes commonplace and it's very difficult to manage and enforce from my seat. And I'm still not certain you both agree on the definition of prospect to be named later.
-
usually there is a day or so notice from what I see. So I can use that to an advantage I think too. Just trytin to put imo
-
So are we pretty much saying this trade is a no go? Im glad this happened, so we could figure this out. I think it definately requires a trust factor between myself and Sco... My thoughts were that it would be a player not currenlty playing in the MLB. For example, Urias would still be an option. Also, if I see Sco trade a player that I had my eyes on, my fault not his... Its really not that complicated. Also, from having so many prospects, I get noitfied when he they are being called up
-
So prospects on your roster as of today are not eligible? Does he have to tell you immediately after you win the auction? What if you pick up a prospect, trade him, then shizzo decides that's the prospect he wants in the ptbnl deal, because you said any prospect you pick up. Or what if you pick up a 'prospect' tomorrow and he makes a roster in 2017 and is a star. Could shizzo wait for the breakout and then demand him? It all seems ambiguous.
-
After additional thought, until we have clearly defined rules regarding ptbnl I am opposed to it
-
Easy, hosmer and ozuna for McCullers and a throw in is not a strong offer. lol love the thought though
-
It happens all the time in real sports. I just thought it was a fun idea. I don't care if its vetoed. Selfishly I expect several nice offers to come. Right away... From everyone who thought it was sooo bad....
-
how you can trade an asset you don't have?
-
I don't see an issue with it not being someone on a current roster. Shizzo and I laid it out for any prospect that I pick up between now and the final day of the 2017 season.
-
i suppose not. its a deal involving a player that wasnt on my team at the time, but i suppose it only becomes ptbnl if i had traded for travis before winning waino. just wanted to be fully transparent with what we are talking about here.
-
that's not really a ptbnl deal, is it? had you lost the waino auction, there would not have been a trade.
-
full disclosure, shizzo and i did a ptbnl deal earlier. our deal was devon travis for a very specific ptbnl, adam wainwright. we committed to it, i won the waino auction and then we processed the deal. Is that sequence a problem? Because Waino wasnt on my roster Or is it fine because the trade wasnt made until waino was on my roster?
-
the ptbnl list should be included in the trade comments
-
agree with andy's comments about ptbnl later. I agree with the premise. However, it needs to be stated in the trade comments and/or the message board comments. Additionally, the ptbnl needs to be on the roster already and cannot be, i will pick up a guy later and i will send him your way.
-
Piscotty for nothing to carcass... Deal. I'm offering it up now
-
I am going to interrupt the snark here to address the ptbnl idea. I don't know that I have a problem with it in theory, but it should be spelled out in the comments of the trade. You are letting people veto a deal without having all of the information. And then even if that passes, you later have to deal with trading a player for nothing and avoid that being vetoed. We should probably discuss the PTBNL at the next Owners Meeting.
-
for the record, i would not have traded jdm for lopez (in case there was any doubt)
-
Do I need to go back and post the crappy offers I was getting for Ozuna? It will take some time, but I can
-
Hey, does anyone want my injured players for some top tier pitching? They aren't going to play again this year, so you can have them.
-
hey nick, trade me piscotty. I will trade you miguel cabrera. he's not on my team right now, but i will get him later and send him to you then
-
I don't mind if people veto. It was just a fun idea. I get a high level pitching prospect as well as a prospect TBD. Anyone I want, at anytime... I will buy the player for cost. Let me know what you guys think. I have offered ozuna to 75% of you and all refused to pay for him. I feel like Lopez is high level prospect. Which no team was even offering me that... Just an a bunch of cuts....With quotes saying Ozuna cant be trusted
-
No vetos need to happen, it also includes a player to be named later-a prospect that is not currently on my roster. Even if that wasn't the case, there could be arguments made for all kinds of lopsided trades. It's not like Lopez is some injured guy plus he is a keeper type prospect.
-
What is that? That has to be vetoed
-
maybe sco has chris correa on staff? another possibility
-
Every once in a while, someone presses the wrong button and hits accept when they meant to hit reject. That's another possibility.
-
there has to be more to it right, right?
-
Was there actual cash exchanged in a deal today? Like U.S. currency?
-
Abreu, Kluber and either of Melancon/Davis on trade block.
