Like Lil' Sebastian said in his earlier post, you have to cut someone with a salary of at least $4. You have to be able to roster 40 players for $400. By cutting Byrd, and his $1 salary, you are penalized $1 (half the contract rounded up).

It says you must cut a player and I do and nothing changes why not explain what the heck is going on

If I am not going to fill 40 spots why do I need enough money to do so it makes no sense to me

I have been active all year I just get angry when it tells you there is a problem but does not explain why. I have no idea how this site operates at times.

Your cap used + number of free roster spots has to equal 400 or less. You have 2 free roster spots + $399 cap used so you are over. I think that is the problem. Given penalties, you will need to cut a $4+ player or else trade for space. I think!

I am getting a message that says I don't have enough money to fill 40 spots please remedy this imediatley but wont let me do anything. Will this mean I wont be able to accum. any points?

That trade is very real. I have been trying to trade Wright for well over a month, had offers out to more than 6 teams in here. The offers either sat with no response or were rejected. I cashed in on Wright for some younger talent for the future.

Hi there, yes it is still showing start an auction despite him being on your team. I don't think that I can get rid of the cap penalty myself. I will email support right away and cc you in.

hey commish ... i picked up fowler back up from auction, but the cap hit hasn't cleared from my team ... seems like it is in a strange state ... any thoughts? when i picked dickerson back up a couple weeks back, the cap hit cleared immediately no issue

I've manually completed the trade moving Kimbrel from your team and adding him to Orioles. Please let me know if this is correct. Clearly a bug in the system, I apologise for not picking it up before.

Something appears to have happened with my trade with bublooo Orioles, Craig Kimbrel was in the trade but has not been removed from my team, and because he's not removed I'm over the cap, and cannot change my team. What needs to be done to fix this?

The MS Braves had an event for my school last night, so I went for the free food/beer. Wasn't paying much attention, but by the 3rd inning I realized the game was really boring. Turns out Andrew Hainey was pitching for the opposing team. He is a beast!
