All minor leaguers are available either via the draft or by auction after they are signed by their MLB parent club. Hope that helps.

Can someone point me in the right direction to better understand minor league picks? I know in some leagues it's built into the regular draft, but I've read that some leagues do minor league picks separately, after the regular draft. How does it work in this league? Thanks in advance.

Has anyone else noticed the FanGraphs Free Agent board is not right for pitching? It looks like the hitter's board is working, but the pitcher's board is showing rostered players as free agents. Am I doing something wrong?

MLB Opening Day is set for April 1. I was thinking we would do our auction within 2ish weeks of that date if possible. March 14-31. Anybody have any blackout dates where they absolutely can't do it?

Just FYI to the league, keeper deadline as well as the deadline to pay for your team this year is tomorrow night at midnight. If you don't extend your team it will go into claimable teams.

As Arbitration starts tomorrow, please do your best to get it done. No expectations of having it all completed tomorrow night, but we should all strive to work on it in the next few weeks. This is vitally important to our league's competitive balance.

I think there has to be arbitration to keep progressing the league and correcting contracts. The money for arbitration keeps players close to their real values, without it we're going to have a lot contracts that are too good. For example, I think all of you hit Juan Soto up this year. He went from $15 to $42. That was the correction. He's definitely worth a lot more than $15 and should be priced closer to $42. Just my opinion, whatever the league decides I'll roll with.

League: According to the Ottoneu Admin team, arbitration will be an option on a league by league basis. If we don't want to do it, we don't have to but if we do want to, we can. I would love to come to a league-wide decision before the season so we can feel good about our in-season strategies. Will each of you please PM me or post your vote on the Message Board. I will tally the votes that I get and go with simple majority on whether or not we will do arbitration.
