For Science! messaged me and he's absolutely right. We need to recruit new owners who will be active. This league has been going for awhile and I think I'm the only person who was here from the start (correct me if I'm wrong lol). Owner turnover is typically fine, we just need good owners. If you know anybody have them claim one of the teams! If you feel like you can't do it anymore, please let me know. Thanks everyone. Let's make this a productive offseason.

Sorry to say I am leaving ottoneu. I have become invested in CSFBL, and I love the pace of the seasons and non-rigid time requirements. I simply do not have the time or desire to do both. This league is clearly fantastic, and I wanted to give you all time to find a replacement owner on your own and the commish can abandon my team then. I have very much enjoyed my time here, and I believe my team is in much better shape than when I found it. Best of luck to all of you! I will not renew this team.

Are you a contender? Do you need a catcher? How about a top 5 catcher who is cheap? Interested?! WELL do I have an offer for you! Sal Perez is available for $8. Looking for starting pitching or middle infield. Ability to keep is important. Salary isn't a huge factor, but needs to be reasonable for keeper reasons.

I agree this could be his career year, but he's posted about a 1000 in back to back years and if he puts up 1200+ like he's on pace for this season....well, that's just ridiculous for a 2B. Those are Goldschmidt, Trout numbers. Just my opinion.

It was so hard to rank him, honestly. He's a stud and $19 is a great price. He's also (probably) having a career year and owners might not buy the power surge.

And I did that because of the history of this league. The value of prospects are typically downplayed here.. plus the current prospect class is much worse than it was a couple years ago. So now those guys are the productive MLs that are relatively cheap. Ebbs and flows of the game, ya know?

It was more gut, but I was ignoring prospects for the most part. Because IMO, you'd be using a combination of those prospects to get guys on this list.. if that makes sense. Only one guy on here hasn't played in the majors and you could argue others over him.

This is fun, thanks for putting it together. Did you generally use a 2016 surplus value calculator to come up with this, or is it more gut feeling? I am deeply hurt and offended that more of my prospects aren't listed.
