Be Here, if you are in the league you can't see abandoned teams in the league. It's Fangraphs way to prevent league members from abandoning their teams to claim a "better" team within the same league

Is it odd that Tilted isn't showing up in the expired section? http://ottoneu.fangraphs.com/claimteams
-
Also, Trout/Donaldson/Cruz/Kershaw/Betances isn't a terrible way to start, either as a core or as trade chips to acquire some depth or tons of youth... Please work hard at this, we want a full league!
-
Brooklyn, the person who drafted for you expressed some interest. Please check... It will be a tough sell because of the $100 price tag and inheriting a team that didn't draft. Find someone who likes reclamation projects and is in it long term! A smart owner would have his/her pick of virtually any and all free agents this year because of how much cap space that team has left!
-
Alright, after several attempts to correspond, I just received word from OttoNeu that Tilted has officially expired and is now an abandoned team (that should serve as a warning to those who haven't renewed for this season yet! ... be sure to do so by your deadline :-)). Please spread the word and try to recruit owners!
-
Just curious, as I've never played ottoneu, do we just leave Tilted's team as is all season? Or try to find an owner who wants to pay $100 to have a team with 10 players? Are we allowed to make, like, commissioner trades with Tilted as long as the majority of the league agrees? How does this work? He has 3 of the best players in the game. Just wait and hope somebody wants a project next offseason?
-
If anyone is interested in joining another league, there's a $50 tier that just opened called "Legends Dynasty League." It'd be from scratch, same format as this one. Let me know if interested.

Do YOU ๐๐like second basemen but failed to get them in the draft!?!? Come on down to NNP for all your second base needs!!!!......probably looking for OF, SP, or EVEN MORE SECOND BASEMENN!!! (Jk)...maybe prospects....or anything that helps me for 2018...so really, nothing in particular...multi player deals are welcome. I prefer them actually.

Haha Oxford. I thought it was Winker at first so I didn't blame you. I also thought you may have some insider knowledge once I realized it wasn't Winker.

FWIW I don't recommend drafting at 1:30 AM you're vision starts to go and you selecting a 31 year old who never made it out of rookie ball 10 years ago.

Just a reminder to everyone for the auction tonight, if you miss your nomination the system will automatically mark you as done and you will be locked out, the commish will need to unlock you so you can continue drafting.
-
Draft TONIGHT, 6:30p. Please renew for the year if you haven't already. See you then!
-
REMINDER: Draft is THIS Thursday, February 25, starting promptly at 6:30p eastern. Get those draft boards ready, and see you then!

I think we're getting closer. Brooklyn told me he could draft for 2 hours if we start at 6:30p on Thursday, 2/25. By my count, 11 have said either through the poll or by message that they're available. Any objections?
-
I'd also prefer a different date, I have another auction that night.
-
I'd prefer it not be 2/27 as I will be traveling.

Saturday, February 27th, starting at 6p eastern? That date tied for the most owners available. And maybe time would be more flexible (for some) on the weekend?
-
Agreed I'd prefer we get it done in one shot as well, however it's currently starting at midnight for me. If we moved it back an hour so it would be an 11pm start for me I think I'd be fine to stick it out till 2AM. However it looks like the 25th does not work for Brooklyn, so is there another day which might work for everyone?

Drafting a league from scratch is a very long enterprise - I don't think this will stretch far past three hours. (With half the league having 21 players or less, much work to be done but...) In light of how tough it is to find common time, I think if we get everyone together, we should stick it out and get it done in one night. It's a lot to ask people to keep multiple dates open. Thoughts?
-
All of those dates/times are normally work days/times for me; however I can make any of them with enough notice, which is why they are listed available.. but I cant make all three days available that week just b/c of a draft, so I dont care which day it is but I do care if we cant finish a draft in one day. I've never been in a league that had to finish on another day & prize league or not I'm not going to lose three income days for this (esp after taking over a last place team)....
-
I have another auction on 2/25, so I definitely can not make that date.
-
That gives everyone almost three weeks to clear your schedules. I know this is a prize league, so it's important for everyone to be able to draft. But as you might expect, coordinating 12 schedules for people across the globe is a tall task. Do the best you can to be available; ask a friend for help if you can't; let me know what I can do in the meantime.... Looking forward to the year!
-
Alright, thanks for everyone's participation in the draft poll. With Tilted and Bryce having flexible schedules, I set the draft for Thursday, February 25th, at 7:00p. The majority of owners (10/12) indicated that that date and Saturday the 27th would work. If we can't finish on the 25th, we'll continue on the 27th (also 10 available). If for some reason, we still need more time, finish on Sunday the 28th (9 available for now).
-
So select the dates in which you know you absolutely can't attend. Then we can get this nailed down, giving everyone enough notice to plan around it.
-
I think that's what the goal of doodle is; to give the commish a few dates to work with. So filling it out will help him with that, which then helps everyone.
-
3/13 won't work for me, the other dates likely will. It's hard for me to forecast out my schedule extremely far... I think it's easier if the commish sets a date with a fair amount of notice and then everyone can attempt to clear their schedule for that date, or if they have that date blocked out the commish finds a different date and we attempt to clear schedule's again.
