First of all, thanks for claiming the team, and welcome! Typically, penalty-free cuts are only granted before the draft has occurred, which is not the case here. An experienced owner drafted your team, and left it in pretty good shape, with some cap space, so any cuts you make will incur the regular penalties.

New to the league. New to Ottoneu. Looking to learn a lot. Please be patient with the newbie questions...starting with the message that says I get one round of penalty-free cuts. How long do I have to decide on those cuts and what is "one round"? I assume that means I line up a list that I want to cut and hit the enter button once? ...or I just get to cut one player? Any recommendations on which players to put out to pasture? :)

I am anticipating that I Let Yu Go is not going to make the draft tonight. He has not logged in since 2/6, nor responded to any of my attempts to contact him. I have a proxy drafter lined up, but he does not want to keep the team, so I believe we will need a new full-time owner. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

11 PM ET for me is 5 AM. I'll be there, though it has happend once that I slept through the alarm. If that is the case, no need to wait for me given that I have very limited budget to spend and spots to fill. Regarding renewals: In other leagues I am in that has to be taken care of before the end of arbitration to have ample time to find any necessary replacement owners. I'd be in favour of something like that for this league as well.

Reminder that the draft is set for this Friday, February 23, at 11 PM ET. Please be there on time. If anyone is late arriving to the draft room, I will allow a 15-minute or so grace period before finding a proxy drafter. Also, I would strongly prefer that everyone renew their team for this season before the draft (particularly I Let Yu Go, whose team is currently expiring the day after the draft). Thank you.

Yeah, I am on CET, 6 hours ahead of EST. So friday or saturday late late night (>11 pm), or saturday or sunday EST afternoon would work for me. The weekend of the 24th I already have two Ottoneu auctions planned.....

Trades can be conducted right up until the deadline, but ALL players involved in trades agreed to after midnight TONIGHT (Monday) MUST be kept, since such a trade would not process until after the keeper deadline. There will be no exceptions - you've been warned. Anyone who does not make their cuts by the deadline (without an EXCEPTIONALLY good excuse) is at high risk of being booted from the league.
