I am good to go with the 19th, L.A. trip fell through. Lets get drafting!

All - Good news! We have an agreement between the owners and players. The season will begin April 7th. We had talked about having the auction the weekend of March 19-20. Other than potentially the NYC Nashers, I do not think there were any owners who had a conflict with the 19/20 with the 20th being slightly preferred. Do we want to try for that weekend or look to the following weekends of March 26-27 and April 2-3?
-
Final reminder: today is the keeper deadline. Any players cut after midnight ET tonight will incur cap penalties.
-
I could do auction the weekend before/after too if necessary

Reminder: check my trade block before you cut someone since if they're listed in "wants" I'll trade something for them.
-
It looks like I may be traveling now on the 19th and 20th. Not sure yet. If I cannot make it does anyone know someone who may be able to fill in and draft for me? I know leagues have done this before. I will be in L.A. possibly from the 16th to 21st and not sure of my availability while out there.

That was supposed to be A quick reminder. Sorry.
-
Hi Everybody! I quick reminder that the keeper deadline is only two days away. On the draft day, from reading the responses posted I think the 19th and 20th of March are still both possible. I was not sure if the Alleghany Tops were available on the 20th. Is there anyone who cannot make either of those days? There were a couple owners who indicated a preference for the 20th.
-
The 19th and 20th work for me, Trip. Thanks.
-
Any of those dates are OK with me
-
I should be available that weekend. I suggest managers be encouraged to be ready to nominate but not impose a penalty if they do not.
-
I can make those dates work. I agree - skipping nominations is annoying, and it’s kind of an underhanded tactic especially in later rounds.

Weekend of 18-20 probably ok for me. 20th far preferred. 18th might be toughest.
-
I am traveling right now but think those dates work for me. regarding blocking missed noms. Please remember I am blind and some times miss a nom, so I am against blocking missed noms. Thanks

March 18-19, 7:30 all okay with me. I agree with Chico about discouraging missed nominations. Two misses and you're out is reasonable.

The 18th is probably bad for me. 20th is best - any time - but I can make evening of the 19th work. Also, I know it's probably a pain, but can we please enforce teams having to make a nomination when it is their turn? Maybe they are prevented from bidding on the following nominations until it is their turn again; that will give them plenty of time to figure out who to nominate?! (and an incentive to nominate a player when they would prefer not to)

Agreed we should set a date. Thanks Stallions! My thought is to look to weekends in March. I would tentatively propose the weekend of March 18-20. Opening day is scheduled for March 31st now. That, of course, is in jeopardy, but we can hope that the owners and players reach agreement. Any thoughts on say 7:30 pm ET on March 18th, 19th, or 20th?
-
We should get a draft date set. I know MLB might be delayed this year but I’m still hopeful they start roughly on time.

I hope the lockout ends before it ruins spring training. But it would not surprise me if it runs right to opening day, if not beyond.

Hearing the keeper deadline pushed to 2/15 due to the lockout. #Manfraud

Aaron Bummer and Kenley Jansen are available for the best offer. A rebuilding team like mine can’t afford to spend much on RP. I’ll take whatever the best offer is (if any) by the end of the week.

I sent out 4 or 5 offers today, mainly looking to get negotiations started. I almost never outright reject an offer without at least taking the time to send a counter or leave a comment explaining my reason. So if you want to send something, I’ll definitely at least send feedback or make a counter.

I’ll cut all the players I see as no-brainer cuts. Everybody else on the roster will be available in trades, so if you are interested in anybody please let me know.

Hello everybody. I saw this team was abandoned, and thought it could be fun to try to rebuild it into a viable team. I am not sure it’s realistic for me to be a serious 2022 threat, but I’ll at least be active and will try to make a run.

Thanks. I don't know anyone, just thought we could abandon to have it posted in the claim a team page for anyone. Thats how i found this team last off season
-
Yep! What Aaron said. We reached out to some friends who we thought might be interested without luck. So if anyone knows someone who wants to take on the 48s please let us know.
-
C-Patt, you're right. We've been searching for a new owner to take over that team. If you know anyone who is interested in joining the league, please let them know.
-
California 48s hasn't logged in since May. Think we should abandon to try to get another manager before keepers are due
-
I did my best to add _almost_ every player I have some interest in to my block. let me know if you'd like to try to work out a deal!
-
Great job everyone getting arbitration done! You can still change your allocations until the end of the day today. Thank you!
-
Greetings eveyone! This is the second reminder that your arbitration allocations are due on November 14. You can make or change allocations until then. If you do not plan to return to the league next year, then please let the commissioners know so we can find replacements. Thank you!
-
Hello Owners! I hope everyone is doing well. This is the first reminder that arbitration is in process. Please input your allocations by November 14. Enjoy the World Series!
-
Amazingly close! Spider Tack almost pulled off the last lap pace.
-
Wow. I didn't realize the fight for the silver medal was so close. 1.1 pts??? So we're basically talking about one at bat over the course of a season?
-
Great job, Wahoo. An awesome performance.

Nice work Wahoo. Looking forward to an active off season!
-
Thanks everyone! If only it was one of my money leagues 😬
-
Indeed, Congrats on your domination Wahoo!
-
Had a blast again even though Wahoo crushed us. Congratulations, Dave!
-
Weeks? Wahoo had this wrapped up before the auction in March. :) Congrats!
-
Congrats Wahoo! Great season! I could have sent this message weeks ago. :-)
-
yes pls. cut Hays, keep Reynolds. checked the wrong box and mised it in the second window
-
Did you inadvertently cut the wrong player? I can fix that for you if you want me to.
-
damn, I just now was cutting Austin Hays not Reynolds, could I have that corrected? Thx.
-
11 healthy hitters 8 DL and that counts Posey returning today. freaking hilarious. Not counting my pitcher bums Flaherty, Ross, and the others that are hurt absolutely hilarious.

My team's done, baseball players are so soft can't even start an active roster anymore. Hilarious how soft modern players are I think I have more players on the DL then healthy. See you next year.
