Not sure I how much Madrigal interests you, but as I see it you don’t need Chapman’s saves at this point and I would guess that he’s too expensive to justify holding onto for next season—he is for me anyway. So this at least gives you a young guy with a good amount of potential at a low price next year. Better than cutting Chapman in the offseason and getting nothing for him.
