This is a comparison between your team and the top squads. And yes, you may be in 6th place.
-
Yeah it looks like you don't understand because I am on pace for 1500 ip. You aren't. Peace I'll see you in 6th place.

If you don't understand how the differences in IP affect the standings, then you're hopeless

Plus especially watch out next year as well. My two biggest stars lee and Cabrera sucked this year and I'm still on your asses

Look at the graphs over the past month I gained 600 points on redic. I'm only about 150 away from a fraud and 300 from $$

Gator- Interesting you would immediately start placing offers for my pitchers after adamantly demanding my mistake not be reversed.

My mistake was that I made a trade not doing my math correctly, screwed up, and didn't have enough cap room after the trade. Then I was forced to cut Werth. However, it was an "honest" mistake because I can't do math, but it's all part of being a GM, and

I do believe that it was an honest mistake, and I also believe that it is a completely different situation than what General Manager Gator did last year. Anyway, I feel bad but if there's opposition to it then I can't make any special rules.
-
It was an honest mistake and I emailed upton immediately after I did it.

Yes it did state it he was $17. I thought after he passed through waivers his auction price would be 9$ (my remaining space).

OK, after this discussion and some private messages I am rescinding my prior message. It does pretty clearly state the minimum bid in parenthesis when you start an auction for a guy. Sorry Texas.
-
Not only did Tejas start the auction for Nava, he cut him in the first place at $7 so he HAD to know how the price/auction worked. Not sure what he was trying to pull but he made his bed, he should lie in it.
-
I have to agree with Gator because Tejas has nominated players for more than $1 before. Daniel Nava and he didn't complain about getting him for that price. If he wins Mauer he should have to deal with it.

And it just doesn't make sense how Texas could make that mistake. When mauer was 34. Correct his new auction is at 17. Why would it go down by another half? Just doesn't make sense. It appears Tejas wanted mauer but didn't make the necessary research that
Gatorwade on

I think Texas should get mauer and then have to figure out what to do just like I did when I had to drop werth to make a legal lineup

Tejas should get special treatmenr
Gatorwade on

And that mistake was not realizing you need a $1 for each spot and then I had to drop werth. As I was a newbie as well. So I don't think it's fair that someone making a mistake when there are numerous warnings before hand if you want to nominate that

To the guys name. You are enjoying Jason werth for the past year and a half with my mistake and I never got that reversed.

How many years have you been in this league? This is my first year doing Ottoneu and I know that. You should have gone with drunken FFB or my dog did it.
-
I thought the auction would start at half of $17 rather than $17.
TEAM DEUCE on
July 30, 2014 11:16 AM
-
Correct. By nominating you're automatically bidding the minimum. And when you nominate you're given a warning that says "Are you sure you want to nominate?", hence the drunk theory.
-
Lol. I'm sure it happens. Confusing because after nominating, the bid "box" is still blank. So if you're the nominator, you cannot delete your bid by typing 0 in the box like you can with auctions that someone else started?
-
Of course the question "How does one "accidentally" start an auction for someone?" is completely up for debate. My guess: drunken fantasy baseballing?
