• Gotcha. Well I am typically of the other belief - what's the point of drafting someone in early March only to have to cut him because he either gets hit in the head during spring training or goes 0-55 in his spring ABs. I'll leave it up to the group. Our dates would either be Wednesday 3/25 or Wednesday 3/11; both at 8:30 CST. Whatever gets more votes wins!

• Unfortunately 4 of us would have a tough time doing it on the preceding Wednesday (the 18th), and I think it would be more fun to do it on a Wednesday than a Monday....so I think the 25th works best for everyone, unless it is a real struggle for you Screwheads then we could alternately do 3/16. I moved the time back half an hour as well.

I realize people get concerned with Spring Training injuries though and want to hold off as long as possible. Personally, I'm all for getting the trade window opened back up.

• More updates: We were still 1 vote shy of having a majority for the "free removal of keepers on 60 day DL rule", but 5 teams did not vote. So for the new teams: we were considering allowing a free drop (i.e. no cap hit) of anyone that you kept that gets put on the 60 day DL before the auction starts. If you would be in favor of this rule let me know. We also need to set a draft date. I imagine the draft will not take very long. I'd be in favor of a weekday between 3/30 and 4/3. Thoughts?
